Been kinda a slow FG week for me so far… bout to get in some BBCS2 and AH3 practice. Too bad about KOF gettin pushed back, not a good sign. Unless it means more characters ahem(Geese), then its cool. Spooky gettin hemed up n shit,fuck the police!!! Really thinking of gettin a import 360 so I can play games like phantom breaker and all those dope arcade shooters they have.
Pretty sure half of the footage I have from VA is you using MagneWeiss and winning with easy air juggles to Arcana Super, you can’t go wrong with it.

As much as I like bad anime fighting games Phantom breaker looks really bad, doesn’t help it’s by 5pb which is pretty meh as far as VNs go except for Chaos;Head and Steins;Gate and that is probably more because of nitroplus anyways.

If this is evidence that they’re fixing a crop of load problems, bugs and glitches that popped up in the EVO beta build, then it’s a good thing for the quality of the game. The very last thing SNKP needs is to release another buggy product that people get fed up with in the first week.
On the other hand, releasing it after UMvC3 is pretty poor business timing. But I think SNKP has repeatedly proven that they don’t like money.
I don’t think KOF fans care about Marvel all that much, and casuals aren’t going to be buying UMVC3 since it’s two Marvels in one year.
I think this will end up only hurting a little bit.
The problem is that in America, the majority of fans are not KOF fans. Casual or not, more people are going to buy UMvC3 over KOF just b/c of the associations they can find in the game. It only takes one of the new characters to get somebody to buy the game.

That’s a losing strategy though, banking on KOF fans is like banking on people that like twilight with IQs above 100. You’re just not gonna get a lot of sales if that’s your strategy.

I’m gonna put it out here but depending on the turnout of the AH3 tournament at EZ this weekend I plan to put in a pot bonus for next months tournament if it seems pretty good. So I hope you people that are just getting into Arcana get that motivation for November! That is assuming EZ is in November and not December (sort of confused since we are doing this Oct 1st and skipping September?
Also we still have one slot left for the free entry into the Arcana tournament. We’re already giving away free entry to Sal and Jon for this weekend and have just one more slot so get with me or Seventh and let us know.
