Puzzle League/Tetris attack is a pretty big name puzzle game.
As a side note one of my friends picked up a copy of Catherine, game owns it’s so hype.
There’s a difference between ignornace and stupidity. You can almost never point a finger at someone for not knowing what something is when they’ve never seen/heard of it. And it’s completely stupid to be like “well… he STILL should know what it is.” Depends on the scene. Unless he went to Puzzleryuken.com and subscribed on a chat board and found out that there were other games because Dimps Fighter 4 and Marvel vs. Buttons 3, there’s no reason to know about anything he didn’t play or his friends. You don’t really have to enter puzzle tournaments to consider yourself competitive in it like with fighting games or FPS games.

VA tournament was GREAT! Exact opposite of last time. Amazing venue with air conditioning, good amount of staff, great variety of games, plenty of setups, plenty of space, each tournament was run quickly and efficiently - just an all around great experience. Marvel teams at the end was crazy hype, and 3rd strike grand finals was so much fun to watch, easily the best grand finals of the day. DB recorded 3rd strike grand finals and everyone should watch that video, amazing matches.
Big thanks to Robin (Renegade) and everyone else who made it possible. Team NC featuring team UGGGGH and eddie and some other black dude - untouchable.

All cool bro. I was thinking about doing a MM in Tetris myself as well, but I think I’m probably gonna just save my few dollars and put them towards a Cathy Rine MM instead. You going to ReSe on the 17th right? I’m hoping I can get a carpool ride with someone up there for the tournament. If that happens maybe I can see you then. I’ve played some casuals in Charlotte before but never been to a tournament. Should be fun stuff and I heard ReSe had a good turnout last event.
