I’ve heard about this too, but I’ve experienced just as much of it on the 360 version as I have on the PS3. If it effects gameplay in any way, then that would be news to me, but I have yet to notice anything substantial while playing.
In the Winter Brawl stream they were talking about the 360 version having screen tearing so I don’t know what to believe anymore.

The entire week I was playing the 360 version before street date I didnt feel or notice anything substantial. The problem is I keep HEARING about it. At Lucky’s Remix and Andre noted it. Then Priest said something. And reports from players at Winter Brawl are saying the same thing. Im not trying to incite any kind of flame session or console fanboy debate, just wondering if its going to be a true issue or more fluff.
There is, I’ve seen it too. It hasn’t effected me playing it, but Angus was mentioning it too. I think it depends on the PS3 model, I hear only the older ones tend to lag? Anytime Sentinel assist was called on the Daily Bugle stage Angus and I could see it. Also if you do the Zero power up super then tag him out to use as an assist while playing Sentinel and like calling drones or some shit it gets mad slow. Shit like that, and the Morrigan super. When you randomly pair up that kinda stuff with assists and whatnot it gets a bit slow like Bayonetta on PS3 on Castlevania: LoS on 360. But aside from burned 360 copies, I’ve never seen that system miss a beat. I haven’t really missed combos because of it. It’s just irritating to look at to some people. I don’t really mind.
And Will, I was going to make sure I spoke to you before I just took your shit and left some money under your pillow like the tooth fairy, but I didn’t have cash and then it was like 9:30 in the morning and then I woke up and it was almost 4 so I had to get home. I’ll get it next weekend or the weekend of FR though.
My Bayonetta for PS3 runs at like… 30 fps at all times.
And I get that same slow down during Genei Jin and some assists.
That fanboy shit needs to go! I have all three (5, including portables) systems and none of them give me problems*. Even the Wii is a vagina pleaser. You don’t buy a fucking system for its hardware, that’s reserved for when you’re customizing your own fucking PC. My personal method is to just have all of them, get the Japanese origin games on PS3 and get the Western origin games on 360 (of course there are exceptions).
It seems this shit only comes from people who only have one of the two systems that are usually in debate. This to me is either moronic brand loyalty or you can’t afford the other (both) so you make yourself feel better about your purchase by continuously destroying the credibility of the other. If you don’t have a gamertag AND a PSN ID under your avatar then SHUT THE FUCK UP!
