Without Sunday Night Football and The Biggest Loser, NBC would probably be completely dead. Can’t believe it can still get WORSE. Their scripted dramas aren’t doing so good either. Heroes getting killed in ratings, but they’ll likely still continue to churn it out despite that because their bench is completely empty. Southland gone and picked up by another network, Trauma was epic fail, Mercy is likely not going to come back. They might have to resort to bringing back America’s Got Talent early haha.
Fox has no late night schedule. Since the beginning, Fox network programming is only from 8:00-10:00, unlike the other three networks. Notice that there is never any Fox programming on at 10:00 an onward, as your local Fox affiliate will always air your local news at 10:00, and after that is whatever syndicated shows your local affiliate airs. It’s been like that since Fox has become a major network and won’t change. Given that, it’s still amazing that Fox is still doing VERY well compared to its competition working with less having only 2 hours of primetime compared to 3.
But… Conan is soooo good. He’s in top shape, I love it.
And the new Leno show is soooo bad. Old Leno show was at least watchable, but these days it’s embarassing.
Not that this has any impact on me, not living in the US, but it sucks for Coco.

I agree with this. They should just make Leno do only headlines, all the time. Or hell, give headlines to Conan and force Leno to retire.
Fallon needs to go. the way they say things it makes it sound like they’ll drop Conan…doing so is screwing themselves over. NBC cannot be THIS stupid to let him go. Also Carson has his show still?
Good or bad, there’s basically nobody to replace Letterman, right? Ferguson is not prime time, and he only turned entertaining after he started those long rants about random shit. NBC should tread carefully because I doubt they’d win with Conan at CBS vs Leno.
Never cared for any of these late night shows. I think I laughed once during a Leno episode and two or three times during an O’Brien. That being said, Conan wrote for the Simpsons and made it fucking hilarious for I hope he beats that humorless, chinny bastard.
Letterman is currently enjoying his greatest ratings against the Tonight Show due to competing against Conan and his infidelity thing which he handled masterfully gaining him control of 11:30 in the ratings. CBS is happy right now where they’re standing and probably laughing right now at NBC’s internal struggles.
I second your opinion. Fallon is only good because of the Legendary Roots, but not good enough to have it’s own show. He really didn’t do much before his show. Conan has done a lot to be where he is now. I love Jay and his show, but I rather watch Conan than Jay. Why aren’t they talking about cutting Fallon show. He’s cheap too, giving out shitty sweaters and other shitty prizes for people that travel from L.A., Texas, Nevada, etc. just to watch his show in New York. The thing I can’t believe is that he got all of the roots crew! questlove and kirk. He doesn’t deserve the Legendary Roots.
I really like Conan more than Leno with his skits and jokes.
To be 100% honest, if there were no titles to the shows, I can’t tell the difference in Conan with his skits and jokes. Only thing different is the set.
Same exact thing as Leno. If I didn’t know there was a change, I wouldn’t have guessed. The jokes and material are all the same
