that didn’t work in the last beta either
Yeah, the EX seems to eat up all the juggle potential.
I’ll be honest, when I read that through the first time I thought it said that HK-SS couldn’t be followed up with VT xx nj.HK. Was about to be so mad.
Not all of it. During the last Beta it was still possible to follow up EX Sonic Scythe with a juggle into another EX Sonic Scythe.
could also follow ex ss with f lk or bullet clear in the latter frames of the v skill, not in the earlier frames oddly
my memory fails me, but i think lk SS could end the juggle as well
I think you’re right. I vaguely remember something about LK SS juggling also. Never got the chance to use it a real match sadly.
Decided like…three days ago I’m sticking to my “Blonde American” rule and running Nash as a secondary, he looks like a decent contrast for Ken to boot. Gonna need some of that sweetsweet self help threadage come release day.
Never actually played him, just saw him in action so far.
So did ayone get an early copy of the game? Are there any noticable changes to Nash? Does RH SS, Vskill still work in the corner?
How does Nash deal with a zoning Sim? Having trouble vs the pokes. The fireball isn’t a problem though since I can just use vskill.
No notable changes I can report.
HK Scythe, VSkill does not work anymore, but it was already like that in the pre-final build.
I feel in this match it’s good to learn the ranges of his pokes. If you stay outside that range, it’s a lot easier to react to his pokes with your own. c.MK is good against his low pokes and will low profile the higher hitting ones at the right ranges. His buttons have a lot of recovery as well, so from there close the gap and push him toward the corner. I try not to jump much, slide will beat crossups, but it’s punishable if not spaced properly. Still this is only day 0 knowledge I forced myself to learn after getting slapped by Arturo’s Sim in the beta.
what about HP boom and using moonsault? i’m just guessing here since i don’t have the game yet but i would assume that could get you in.
Playing the final build. Noticed no changes besides Vskill juggle that’s already been mentioned
Off screen footage of Xian’s Nash from a recent launch event.

Just wondering - Does HK-Scythe xx V-Trigger, j.HK, V-Skill work? Or did they remove the juggle potential of V-Skill as a whole?
I know that’s not an amazing idea but I’m just interested in how the V-Skill actually works now.
Since I’m on PC I have to wait until Tuesday so can’t test anything.
Yep, still works (at least, in the corner). Just tested it.
Does Nash have anything that can beat crossups?

Thought this was pretty cool
[/quote]This would have been really, really cool if the CC combos shown weren’t bugs in the cracked beta…
I still like the idea of going to light Tragedy Assault to deny a bit of meter, I think it definitely is underutilized.
