you gonna get the new GNT when it hits DE? I mainly like that series and want to play the new GNT when it comes out coz Hidan and Deidara in that game reflect how they are in the anime, with the blowing up of the bombs at will, and the cursing with the circle on the ground. Just make it feel more awesome in general. plus the fact that it focuses on the gameplay and makes it solid, less fanserive and better fighting.
Sad thing is true form sasori blows in that series… and the fact that its on the wii which has ass online…

Haha heres some matches :). My view on the game its fun for what it is. Its better not to try to make it something its not. With a few tweeks to the fighting system could be a somewhat legit fighting game.

I haven’t been reading this thread since I last posted, but I’ve been playing naruto and it’s been mad fun for me. Don’t really care about tournaments, but man online is sure fun. And offline with friends who play.

Only complaint about this game…sub is way to user friendly. Jutsu spam costs more chakra than sub spamming…which doesn’t make sense IMO. It makes offense in this game dang near useless.

ok, so I decided to give UNS2 another go, and it was worst than the last time, online is either SM Naruto, Deidera, Minato, Itachi. It’s a worse playerbase than SFIV and don’t get me started on Deidera.

I don’t play Super Smash Brothers Brawl, but I do understand it a little, and to my knowledge it is quite simple itself no? I personally think that this game is more entertaining then that series (in my humble opinion of course), yet it made EVO in 2008 (I know it has since been dropped) and is still played at many well known tournaments, so why not Naruto?
To be honest dudes and dudettes (if there are any LoL) the fighting game community is still really, really young and it’s growth or popularity hasn’t really hit a exponential rate that would keep most of the world from just rolling there eyes at us. Therefore, I think we should get off of our high horses and be much more excepting of the DIFFERENT types of fighting games there are. Now, before you troll the shit out of me,understand,that I understand we need standards for what is considered a good competitive game, and Naruto is preschool compared to SF,Tekken, BB, and others in many ways.
However, if we are ever going to grow as a community we can’t keep tearing each other down, because this is not the only game that is shunned for basically not being SF or just not playing like the game that individual might favor. The Tekken people don’t like DOA, the DOA people do not like VF, VF doesn’t like Soul Calibur, Soul Calibur vets say SC is better than Blazblue, and the SF people think there all a joke. So I think that before we all start saying too much of " what this is" and “what it is not” we should understand that fighting game is not a synonym for Street Fighter (by the way I love SF, just so you know), and realize that there are other games in this genre, and tolerate each other a Lil more.

Watching how he delayed Akatsuki Sasuke’s combo a bit seems like a good trick to throw off your opponent’s timing for KnJ… who am I kidding, just mash them guard buttons. :x
