I got the game earlier this afternoon, and I’m really enjoying the storyline thus far. It’s pretty good, especially when you have to input certain buttons during some of the major battles. I played a couple of online battles, and the online play is very stable. I wish the game had a Training Mode of some sort, but I guess it doesn’t. It does have a Free Battle mode, however. I’m just focusing on using Hinata and Lee right now as my main characters to use. Chiyo’s assist is godlike I noticed.
Sucks it doesn’t have Training, but like the first game, can be done in Free Battle with one controller.
Played mostly online matches today on my first day. Did okay overall 11 wins, 9 loses and 1 disconnect due to a personal business I had to attend to that forced me to stop playing for the night.
One thing that irked me is how whenever we try to connect to a player and it says they’re already playing, we’re forced to load it again. Makes it a pain when looking for matches.
Anyway yeah, just play this game for fun, no need to take it seriously, although I’m curious to see how the Japanese will play this game.

damn, i was afraid this game was gonna be a mess with online. most forums say the online community use turbo controllers to Knj all day, and this game have no penalty for for DC. oh! and i heard everyone use SM naruto and sasuke all day.
I played a lil online. Twas “kinda” fun. First match connection was ass. Hella delay in moves. Then a lot of researching for matches, which was annoying. Then I randomly ran into a friend of mine (JAZZ_UCHIHA) and we played a 3/5. I lost 3/1. Very good matches. I ran Sai (Main) with Gaara/Kiba assist…and the match I won I used Gaara (Main) with Neji/Kiba assist. Jazz used A.Sasuke (Main) with Itachi/Kisame assist…and then used the same team but switched Itachi and Sasuke’s positions.
ITACHI’S SUSANOO IS NOT TO BE FUCKED WITH.
I literally had no clue what to do when itachi goes into Susanoo but run away and spam jutsu. Do melee attacks even work?

i played online too. First of all…I fucking hate how fast you can activate awakenings now. In UNS1 it took a second or so longer for the awakening to activate after your chakra bar was full. Now that shit is way too fast. It really fucking sucks when I’m simply trying to charge/max my chakra, and I end up popping awakening by accident. It also sucks when you’re fighting against someone else with a ridiculously good awakening (naruto, itachi, etc) because there isnt much shit you can do to stop the activation.
Also I’m finally raging at the camera angle :lol: I was fine with it in UNS1, but tonight I fought a Deidara who was aaaaaallllll the way across the screen in the foreground and jump spamming his projectiles. There was so much spam and jumping (each projectile throw makes him jump even higher) that I couldnt even see my character. I was hoping that with online play they would always allow the camera to be over our character’s shoulder, since we dont need split screen. Boy was I wrong lol.
I’m still having fun with this as a tide-me-over until GT5 comes out.

quick question. where do i exactly buy the characters? because i have a shitload of SP. but i have no clue where to buy the hidden characters at. and yes, this is a noob post.
You don’t buy them, they unlock automatically.
Just keep on stacking SPs and they will unlock eventually. Around 600k SPs are needed to unlock every character.
There’s your answer. You can’t buy them to unlock them, like in other Naruto games.
I’m already starting to dislike this game, Itachi, Minato and Sasori are really fucking retarded. SM Naruto is just as retarded but using Hidan counters him very nicely.
it really sucks that unless i go Pain/Sasori/Hidan i cant even beat the morons that use turbo controllers to mash OOOO and KnJing from everything >:(
I knew it would turn out badly after watching the behind the scenes videos, the ceo looked like some gangster boss’s son and the people working on the game looked uncomfortable, as if the ceo was a cold blooded killer forcing them to smile
