From what we’ve been shown, that’s not even close to true. Gai had all that he could handle with 30% of Kisame before.

Um… opening 6 gates is pretty huge. We pretty much have seen Gai at max level. He can only go one step higher without killing himself. We’ve seen what Gai has to offer.

like I said, Kisame was basically a ragdoll after he went 6 gates, though. I just don’t see how he fits into the power scale, that’s all.

Honestly, there haven’t been a lot of nin who we’ve seen at max power yet. I mean, Gai’s only gone to what, 6 gates? And that was stupid overkill on Kisame’s clone. I mean, they’ve got to be called powerful jounin for a reason. I hope. More likely he gets jobbed, but one can hope.

so does anyone think the oxtopus is going to have a beast-to-beast talk with the fox and convince him to coop with naruto since madara (whom the fox knows well) is back? i think this relationship between naruto and the fox could be very interesting if done well. fox could give naruto crazy strats or possibly even spill the beans that madara is dead and the one claiming to be him is some imposter.

Why was Gai even on the boat? He seemed to be put there kind of randomly. I honestly don’t see Kisame’s chances of winning with Naruto, Bee, Gai and Yamato being there.

As much a Kisame fanboy as I am, the truth is that not even HE is gonna handle a 4-on-1 against them. That doesn’t even count for those freaky animals on the island. (Kisame Vs. King Kong? I’d buy tickets.) He’s gotta murk a few of them in their sleep to stand a chance, and THEN those other nins could get a message out to Raikage, who will then alert his peeps and certianly will give a shout to leaf village, which will just bring more reenforcements. No. Best to just lay low for now and wait for a better opportunity.

I have a feeling that if push comes to shove, they’ll turn up Gai’s plot-armor so that he can use all 8, but they’ll have to ring the Tsunade amberlamps to save him. I just hope they don’t job out my Kisame is all. Send him off like a true G-nin!

Since I wasn’t here when it was discussed and I dont feel like going back that far. Who is everyone thinking Kabuto has as the last corpse? I have a few guesses.

1. Madara’s original body - makes the most sense, not too surprising though. Then finally when can find out whether or not Madara took Obito’s body…

2. The Fourth’s body - kind of random, but could have epic potential. Doubtful though.

3. Orochimaru’s body - the least likely IMO, I expect him to come back fully through Kabuto.

4. Jiraiya’s body - please let it be this. He was offed quite easily. While Orochimaru has displayed techniques of god tier proportions, Jiraiya get’s stabbed and killed off forever? Weak…

Also…why didn’t he bring back Hidan? He’s the only dead member he didn’t bring back. IIRC Konan isn’t dead. Hidan was quite cool IMO and my favorite Akatsuki member.
