uhh i tihnk it’s pretty obvious in a 1v1 fight from the jutsu’s we’ve seen displayed thus far, kisame > bee. I like bee, don’t get me wrong, but that lake jutsu stuff is truly a problem.

Intro is sick. While I’ll be the first to jump at anything 4th Hokage related in the series, fine with that. But I still do have to admit: Other than what the manga did at the end of the Pein arc to get Naruto and his father reunited, anything else is overkill.
The premise for the fourth movie is gat-damn ridiciulous.

My question is, how MUCH did samehada affect bee? Looked like he was down to me, despite the other stuff going on. I’m thinking perhaps the only real threat to Kisame would be Gai. No chakra to drain and he’s hella strong when he pops the gates open. Even then, I’m not putting my money on gai.
Despite my obvious Kisame fanboyism, I have to agree. I think Kisame is being slept on a little TOO much here. My Prediction: Kisame Vs. Bee round 2 ends in a draw when Naruto runs in, Kisame Vs. Bee could go either way, depending on whether or not Naruto uses the FnJ on bee. I agree with all who say that it won’t be long before Kisame has to put an L on his fight record, (He did take off the cloak, after all.) but you better recognize that Kisame, like Rakim before him, ain’t no joke.
Dead @ All up in them guts! I think the thing here is that we must all come to grips with the fact that we got punked. Kisame went all out on bee, bee went all out on kisame, kisame’s sword betrayed him, kisame ended up absorbed by his own treacherous weapon…
…Just as Aizen had planned. Couldn’t resist. Only a few chapters down the road do we learn that it was all just a big magic act to sneak Kisame into the middle of enemy territory to gather info like a TRUE ninja. Bee didn’t look underneath the underneath and it’s gonna cost everybody.
Once again, the damnable SaiST must arrive with his infallable logic!! Shakes an angry fist yeah, bee was about to have his farewell show until kisame remembered,“oh shit!! I’m supposed to,“Lose” this one!” and had to get back on the plan to convince bee that he had “won” the fight. I guess being a bloodthirsty shark who can’t blink does interfere a bit with one’s ability to stick to plans that don’t include death and destruction, but in the end Kisame came through. That’s why we love him. :tup:

Gaara lost his tailed beast. I don’t even know how he can control sand anymore because I thought earlier in the series they said the sand protects him specifically because of the one-tailed beast.

I remember that issue but wasn’t it explained when he was a child that the beast inside of him controlled the sand?
IDK, that hasn’t been explained yet. I guess he eventually learned how to control the sand himself with his own chakra.
So yeah, Kisame is victim number 1 for Kyuubi Sage Mode, like I thought.

I would make the assumption that Samehada would be immune to turning to stone, as its absorbing/eating the chakra, not really channeling it and trying to make use of it… Although, I wonder what would happen when it output the chakra to heal Kisame. If it keeps the “nature” element, i guess Kisame would turn to stone?
Not likely. Hungry Ghost Pein absorbed chakra too, and he got turned into a rock. Kisame will probably have to fight Naruto without Samehada, as natural energy will render it useless.
On a side note, I’m really happy Naruto’s gonna get to kick his ass, since they did all this foreshadowing on how much of a chakra monster Kisame is. That and he kinda owed Kisame one from back in Part 1 at the hotel.
Raz0r, all Shuukaku did for Gaara was provide him with the Shield of Sand’s automatic defense. But he’s always been capable of manipulating the sand freely. There’s been no mention of the automatic defense since Gaara lost Shuukaku, so it’s best to assume that he lost it. Even if that’s the case, Sasuke claims that Gaara’s absolute defense has held up well, which means that all functions of his defense have remained the same, or he’s reached such a high level of skill with his manual control that he’s able to match even the protection that Shuukaku gave him with the Shield of Sand.
Sand manipulation was possible because of Shuukaku, but Gaara somehow retained the ability after the Bijuu’s extraction. May be the birth of a new Kekkei Genkai for Sunagakure, if the way things played out for Rikudou Sennin and his descendants are any indication.
No, he didn’t and that’s the reason that I think Kisame is overhyped. bee straight up told us in the beginning of the fight that he can’t unleash his full power because one hit will destroy the entire area. In addition, it’s noted several times that bee is toying with kisame, and added to that he becomes distracted and focused on keeping Sabuchan and Ponta from drowning, instead of actually fighting. Nowhere does Bee go all out, not even close. One on one, with no hostages, Kisame isn’t fucking with Bee. Sasuke straight up lent Kisame his plot-no-jutsu for this fight.

why else would it be mentioned that another kage had iron sand manipulation to mimick shukaku sand?
if it were just a tech, then anyone would learn it and not have to develop iron sand substitutes.
im guessing after the bijuu thing ksihimoto was thinking “shit if i take away gaaras sand, wtf can he do?”
