Then again, Orochi originally planned to summon Yondaime in his fight with the 3rd. If what we say about souls not being able to be summon back from the death god is true, then 2 things can be said about orochi and this summoning of the 4th. 1) Orochimaru doesnt know shit about the death god technique and didnt try this before hand or 2) he did this before and 4th came out. Let say we go with #1 but Sandaime said “… I was able to stop the 3rd one (the Yondaime soul)”; which may mean the souls can be summoned back from the Death God’s stomach, because he wouldnt have tried to stop it if he knew that souls couldnt be summons by from the death god.
Now what i dont get it, lets say the coffin kabutomaru summon is madaras body, so what? Why is this tobi/madara so pussied out that its the real marada (this is all theorical)? Its just a dead soul in some random body, is he afraid the real madaras soul will spill all the beans to sasuke?
Could it be the 1st (again)? The 1st did beat Madara way back when. Just throwing it out there.

thats not it, kabuto said right after “This means there’s no way you can refuse me.” This implies that the unknown body summons holds some secret against tobi/madara. It doesnt sound like if you fight me you’ll lose kind of statement by kabutomaru.
If the zombie madara is as all might as you say it is, why the need for kabutomaru to team with tobi/madara, fuk him just go after sasuke. He can start the 4th great war himself.
Edit: with edo tensei, can the user summon the dead infinite amount of times with the same sacrafice? Ie. sacrafice a,b and c, to call x, y, and z for infinite times?

I think the most important thing would be a scan of the coffin…the markings should tell us if its Uchiha or Rikkidou or whatever.

The third coffin never even showed up in the manga.
Wouldn’t be surprised if its Rikudou Sennin, surprised Oro didn’t try to summon him instead of the two Hokages(but that was probably more a choice of screwing with Sarutobi’s head.)
i assume if madara is a ghost with out a shell, that if kabuto used that technique he would be drawn into the body and bound to do kabuto’s will. kinda like the 1st and the 2nd.
Yes, orochi doesnt know about Shiki Fuujin but going by the 3rd, he knows everything about every jutsu and he had to stop the third one, and he knew how to stop a edo tensei summon. Now the manga didnt show the 3rd coffin, but you would assume its yondaime. Orochi was summoning souls emotionally related to sarutobi. You can say it be could any other ninja, but from the ppl we knew at the time who would be a better choice then the 1st, 2nd, and 4th hokage in terms of relationship and strength.
Furthermore, the anime showed the the marking on the 3rd coffin and it indeed had the 4th on it. Giving its the anime you can take it with a grain of salt.

i threw the fourth being in the coffin theory out there in case its not madara’s body. also it’d make things interesting with naruto…it’d be interesting if naruto had to fight a zombie version of his father.
i don’t think its the first or the second…i’m leaning towards somebody we haven’t seen yet and/or something more shocking. its gotta be madara, the 4th, rikudou sennin, etc.
and i am REALLY hoping for a kabuto vs naruto match where kabuto summons zombie jiraiya to mind fuck naruto.
