I assume he must be talking about Tsukiyomi? Because, technically we have no PROOF that the sauce has actually used it… we’ve seen him do some Genjutsus, but from MY perspective, I havn’t seen any definitive proof that he’s used the technique. Hmmmm… Looking forward to next week.

Pretty sure there’s a lot of people who would rather have someone else as the main protagonist. Sasuke’s just too much of a plot armor bitch. He has no real feel other than crying like a fucking sissy the entire manga.
Needs more Aizen.
Hell, give Madara a power-up and call him the main protagonist from now on. It feels more interesting than Sasuke’s lame shit.
To be honest though, is Sasuke really the protagonist or antagonist? He’s a character which I feel is fulfulling both roles right now.
I think it was something along the lines of Naruto saying that there’d be no point in fighting Sasuke that way, with the way they are right now they’d both end up killing eachother, just like he told Sasuke before. Not sure if that was an actual translation, or somebody trying to make sense of it, I was kind of reading through it in a hurry…

what i don’t understand is if itachi was going blind and sickly, how are his eyes going to make sasuke better…??? itachi could barely see sasuke before he died…
It’s Sasuke. He’s going to magically make Itachi’s eyes work at 200% efficiency. Something that Itachi never got to experience.
sometimes I feel that sasuke has savant syndrome. the way he fight’s is like an animal just trying to live or some kind of fourth dimensional being controlling his body. naruto on the other hand seems like he actually learned how to fight and understands what he’s doing
I feel sorry for sasuke, he’s like a computer game character on the snes- you know they’re going through hell but can’t articulate their pain so you just keep going till you’ve completed the game.

I understand the “we’ll both die” together conversation Naruto had in the last chapter. I’ll just chalk up the confusing part to bad translating for now. Glad to know I wasn’t the only one confused about it.
As somebody already said, it doesn’t matter about the quality of the eyes. It’ll give you back your eyesight and EMS anyways. But your comment made me think of something - I don’t know if it’s actually brought up, but would getting Itachi’s eyes also mean getting Itachi’s ninja-aids?

The Sharingan’s “light” is permanently restored.

Hmm… I read it. But I’m still absolutely confused on what role Sasuke is filling at the moment. If he’s the rival of the main protagonist, that could make him an antagonist now, especially with the last 2 current chapters, it’s pretty obvious what role he is filling. Though he still manages to gain more screen time than Naruto, so he could technically be labeled the “unofficial” main protagonist.
Sigh… I never thought a character could fill both of those roles at the same time.
I was going to try to explain the eye thing, but it makes no sense even with real-world examples.
Entire eye transplants aren’t even really possible at this point, last I checked.

Wow. Sasuke’s now riding on the clouds of EMS status (too clutch). I hope Kishi doesn’t mess up the EMS design, but I have a feeling it will be on Kakashi’s level as far as style goes. At least we know this is Sasuke’s final powerup, while Naruto still has more, and that’s not good for the bad guys. Also, for those who believe another character deserves to be the main protagonist, Madara’s getting the holy Rin’negan (remember that).
He’s not both. Naruto is still the leading character. The fact that the manga is currently focusing on Sasuke’s development doesn’t change that.
I hope EMS is just a giant character for “fuck you” so Naruto finally gets it.
