^yeah i’m not sure we’re on the sage page, since sage mode naruto likely would have been able to handle pro wrassler raikage’s taijutsu… but that’s just my opinion.

Also agree but Sasuke would have turned into Vegeta if he stayed a good guy always being a badass and having cool moves but can’t win when it counts. Which is what was happening in the first half of the series.

i gotta agree with this, especially given the power of shit like rasen-shuriken and the frog-katas or whatever, that’s a very lethal combination
now are we discussing 1v1 here (naruto vs blackage) or naruto vs all 4 kages + their 2 shinobis
talking about the match-up of nalto (sage mode) vs old bluffer (raikage) since the previous sasuke vs raikage was also pretty much 1 on 1 until intervention/fight stop.
I personally think blackage got narutos numbers. Old man gots crazy speed and offense, while our hero got next to zero defence. If blackage can land tiger bomb on sasuke, i dont see how naruto doesnt eat one also.
sage mode also has his defense pretty much on point, not to mention speed, power, and all that other jazz that is bundled with it.
iunno considering super speed that the mangekyo couldn’t even or could barely keep up with (iirc) and the strength to render plot-armor (oops, I mean susanoo) practically useless and the will to sacrifice limbs to ameterasu on the guarantee of your instant death…Raikage is a deadly-ass nigga to deal with.
but maybe he doesn’t have the skill to stop and not kill (which has been mentioned specifically to be difficult) so that might come into play.

Sage Mode actually gives Naruto massive defensive capabilities, and if I had to guess I’d say the new Kyuubi Naruto probably has it too. If you recall, Pain wasn’t able to do shit to Naruto physically when he was in Sage Mode, only when he ran out of it was he able to stab him with the chakra rods and such. He also fell from the top of a mountain to the ground onto sharpened stone spikes and was completely unharmed.
I wanna say both Saskue and Naruto are beyond Raikage. It follows the DBZ formula: people that beat them once can’t beat them again. I’m more interested to see what is going to happen to Gaara’s group. Is the old Raikage that they resurrected the current one’s father? He must be pretty strong too, like father like son, if so.

Totally looking for a chokeslam since blackage only has one arm… also… a huge difference between Naruto and Sasuke… Sasuke has long range damaging abilities… while Naruto’s attacks are for the most part physical…
Problem is… Blackage has extremely high physical capabilities(move faster than human eye, extreme strength, and more impenetrable defense techs than naruto)… he’s like the superman of the ninja world…
He lost an arm to Sasuke of his own free choice, Sasuke couldn’t kill him if he wanted to as he is now… he just received new eyes from what we know…
Also, Naruto hasn’t lost to him yet, so there should still be a fight waiting… Kishimoto better give them a fight scene before it is inevitably interrupted…

Had Ultimate Ninja 5/NA2 casuals with some friends the other days. Recorded a few and… omg. This one. I lol’d so hard when I realized what had just happened. It’s like this match was made for SRK, given the history of our Naruto threads.

If this theory fight took place in place of sauce vs blakage… I think Naruto would have been done.
- blakage speed = 4thokage speed; Naruto just wasn’t that fast yet.
- Naruto sage mode aura advantages can be mitigated by Raikage lightning aura advantages.
- Without clones, Naruto’s raw taijutsu less than Rocklee; Blakage’s raw taijutsu greater than Guy.
- Short of being a clone, Naruto would not likely be in fighting condition after a liegerbomb; Survives only if in sage mode.
