No one has said anything explicitly stating they are scared of him. He was one of the big power players ‘pre-Naruto’ - the guy who trained and brought up Itachi…the guy with the same mindframe as Madara…and his eye-technique was kinda hot (see what Danzo did @ the Kage meeting). He makes the most sense as Madara. Just seems every time we get a hint, we get thrown off. My thing now is the frequency in which he has been mentioned in this series is EXTREMELY high and we have SEVERAL ‘images’ of him - more so than any other character who was never alive during the actual series - short of the 4th. We know more aout him than we do the 2nd. So its pretty brain dead to me he is going to ‘necro’ himself into the storyline at some point…and his body not being found adds to that.
Whats interesting to me though - with what Madara just learned and what True Tatsu just brought up, I could see Madara losing ‘the war’ but using POWs to actually RECREATE the Uchiha clan by using a combonation of the rinnegan and Edo Tensei. It could happen…

I like how only one person from the mist can do the mist technique. All the other mist swordman must be losers.
