I agree. Let the minor characters have their fights in the anime, like Team Gai vs Clones (maybe not the best example since it was so horrendously/hilariously animated), and wrap the story up so we don’t have to sit through filler arcs. It’s like nobody can take a hint from how pissed off people get when Bleach gives every minor character with a nonexistent fanbase 5 chapters to fight, though admittedly, I got pretty hyped for Captain Shinkenhakuhatsubatsutatsudatsu’s vice captain’s secretary’s valet’s hairdresser’s second cousin vs Evil Numbered Organization’s third chair’s nephew’s piano teacher’s tax attorney’s taco vendor.
The new element techniques make sense, especially being able to suck water out of a body. Ever since I realized they can control water (and especially after the Sound nin used the water in the fat one’s body to beat him in a tournament) I always wondered why no one ever mastered water enough to just control someone else’s body or desiccate them and be done with them.
I also always wondered about the other Swordsmen so that makes me giddy.
I want those legendary Swordsmen to whoop ass. But they ain’t got their swords.

also, referring to the earlier posts that there may not be an afterlife in naruto, didn’t Sandaime confirm that there was an afterlife, for those who werent consumed by Shiki Fuujin? and also, doesn’t edo tensei kill all the former memories of those summoned, in order to make them completely obedient? just trying to give a possible explanation for the summons not being aware of how they died(though that they’re even still conscious of their summoned state is already different from Orochimaru’s Edo Tensei)
Why shouldn’t there be a bunch of nature techs? I mean there are like 6 different villages. It’s kinda lame how the leaf village is the only one that gets any play.

The guy says that it’s the last generation of the Seven Swordsman of the Hidden Mist. Kisame wasn’t a part of them until he killed that fat dude all the way to the left in order to get Samehada. If you count, there are seven legit swordsmen that probably served together. From Kisame’s final chapter, I didn’t see any signs of formal training as one of the top swordsmen of the village.
Just a thought, anyway.

Yeah. Kishimoto WOULD diss my main man kisame. Samehada + Shark attacks + olympic-Sized swiming pool-no-jutsu + Chakra drain = somebody ain’t gonna make it home tonight. I STILL ain’t happy how him vs. killerbee ended, but it can’t be helped now.
I’m thinking she’s gonna get murked by someone closer to the village than that. I don’t know why I feel that way, but it keeps bugging me like a proximity alarm. We’ll see what’s up in due time.

I can’t agree with you this time. Kisame was the truth, but Zabusa, with NO arms, and only a Kunai in his mouth, Single-handedly Punked out, chopped up, and beat down Gado’s (Sp?) little force before taking out the boss. He even turned around and asked the guys who were left,“Who’s next?” They wasted NO time getting out of dodge. They didn’t want no piece of him.
