Man I am still skeptical about J-Man coming back from the dead…seriously the chance of this happening is slim to almost none. I mean I wanna keep the faith, but seriously after getting your throat crushed (essentially blocking the windpipes), arm chopped off, and lying their thinking about how your life was shitty in a flashback. Yeah…there is no chance he is alive… Sorry but it has to be said, but then again you could see him alive because of Pain or Kabuto’s technique…so you never really know.

J-man just can’t move while in the real sage mode (or risk becoming a frog statue) but… it provides considerable healing, endurance, and perhaps life sustaining properties. If he could stay in such a state long enough he may regain his arm, or manage a one hand seal-less reverse summon (if his name is stricken from the scroll) and returns mere feet away from the restorative pond of the frogs. A good hop before completely becoming a petrified toad statue could save the pervy sage from such a fate.

Since it wasn’t the 4th in the coffin that Oro tried to summon in the fight, as confirmed by this chapter, I’m guessing it was the same person that Kabuto showed to Madara to shake him up a bit. While we all assume it was the fourth, it was actually somebody more powerful; Probably the real Madara.

He tried to summon the 4th, only not during the 3rd hokage battle. You think he didn’t do prep time and make sure his shit worked beforehand? Is he some scrub ninja who shows up to battles to test new shit like it’s casuals? He practiced that summon and tried to call the 4th. It was then he found out he couldn’t summon him up. So he summoned somebody else instead, aka the same person Kabuto is toting around town.
The 3rd stopped that coffin from coming out, not any sort of failure summon on Oros part

Way back when Oro did those summons, he didn’t do it right at that spot in K-town right? Or else he would have needed live bodies, a sample from the dead people, etc etc. I forgot what took place since it was so long ago, but he prep-timed the actual zombie part and just stored them away in coffins…right?

[details=Spoiler]you have no proof at all that he was trying to summon someone else(baseless assumption on your part), while the first panel in the link above kinda proved that he did try to summon 1st, 2nd and 4th against the 3rd… you can see all those shurikens on the 1st n 2nd coffins — shurikens that the 3rd threw to stop the last coffin… you can assume all you want that he already practiced to summon those 3 earlier and all that, but you have nothing to back you up while im just saying things based on what we’re given…
and again, i repeat, it really makes more sense to summon 1st, 2nd and 4th against the 3rd, instead of the “real” madara (odd one out)… imo[/details]
Always underestimating Oro
So wheres your proof that he called the 4th against the third? All we have is proof that he called the 4th at some point. Seems like your theory is lacking as well. We’re both going off baseless assumptions, that’s all we have from a writer who has no problem contradicting himself.
Also, Kabuto is taking the time to show us the entire ritual. Where is Oro doing this in your panels? Oh, he’s not, right? He’s just summoning up zombies in coffins? Zombies that would have had to have been prep-timed? Which would have then made him realize “You know, shit, I can’t summon the 4th. Lets do something else.” Of course the 4th makes more sense and is the logical 3rd coffin, the point is we’ve already been shown that Oro COULDN’T summon the 4th, and yet he did summon another coffin partway (from what I remember, it’s been awhile).
So it’s either he summoned somebody else, or we go back to my other theory from awhile back where Oro knows that the third has the power to stop one of those summons, so he fakes calling the 4th just to get the 3rd to counter it and waste it. Like a bluff.
But since the summon we saw there is completely different than the summon we’re seeing now, what we saw in the 3rd hokage fight couldn’t have been the actual rezzing technique and instead was just Oros way to get them into the battle having already ressurected them ahead of time

That was implied to be the fourth, that is why the 3rd was so worried. Since there aren’t any retcons or really ANY planning ahead in the nalto story, if you put just a little thought into the Oro thing it all seems extra stupid.
Why didn’t he just summon a shit load of people before going into Konoha? Or before fighting Itachi? Why didn’t he summon the two Hokages at least before jumping Itachi for his eye balls?
my assumption wasnt baseless because i supported it with that link showing the 2 coffins(1st n 2nd hokage) blockin another one, with a lot of shurikens (thrown by the 3rd to stop the final coffin)… and the text accompanying that panel.
kabuto said oro failed to summon the fourth in the panel that shows what happened during the oro vs 3rd fight. so yeah, baseless.

So I’ve just about finished up Negima and I’ve realized something…
All mangas seem to use the exact same characters with just different artwork and characters.

Well I’ve read thru Naruto/Bleach/One Piece/Claymore/Hunter x Hunter/Gantz/Negima (as well as the one about that black ball with a person inside of it or something which brings people back to life). I need another recommendation. I’ve DLed Kenshin, DB, Love Hina, and a few others, but I can’t decide where to go from here.
