…that zetsu is a technique of sorts as you mentioned…prolly something along the lines of using the rinnegan to ‘create’ life…and it was prolly from using the 1st cells…like a prototype…which explains how/why he has such heavy ‘plant jutsus’. So, what we’ve been told his Madara stole a sample of the 1st, and created a clone at least…and I’m assuming Zetsu is either a derivative, or a precursor…maybe Madara made a clone, implanted his eyes, and then it transformed into a rinnegan? I dunno. Not much action, some answers, more questions.[/details]

The black Zetsu is probably the only one truly alive. I mean, there has to be a living being in the main Zetsu that separates him from the white counterpart.
Whatever happened to Fuu and Torune? They were just sucked in and never explained again.
The same thing happened to fuu and Toruni that happened to the Kuroi/Omoi team…
They became irrelevant.

Both this manga and Bleach are officially frustrating the shit out of me after reading the spoilers.

Madara’s current body is a Zetsu clone with his soul infused into it. Explains why he loses his arm twice during the entire storyline with some gloopy flesh-like aftermath pouring out of it; resembling the aftermath of slime and goop from Zetsu when he separates/puts himself back together.
With the new spoilers out and seeing that Hashirama Senju’s body is being re-animated from the presently existing cells they’ve found, I have a strong feeling that the body in Kabutomaru’s casket is most likely Madara’s REAL body. Either Kabutomaru found it and Madara didn’t know where it was, or Kabutomaru stole it from him.
Also, after what has been revealed about the powers of the Uchiha, Senju, and Rikudo Sennin, it would seem logically valid enough to me that Madara is looking for the power of the sage to breathe life back into his original body and re-apply his soul to it.
Then he’s of Uchiha blood, implants the Rinnegan into his REAL body, blah-blah-blah-shenanigans, who’s ready for a warm slice of the Moon’s Pie Plan.
You don’t need to have the corpse handy to Edo Tensei somebody.
