Oro was a-wall before naruto was born ie before Sauce was one of two known remaining Uchia still alive. Pein was likely trained by J-man before the 4th was… and Oro wasn’t exactly a missing nin back then.
exactly, and there were still plenty of Uchia after Obito died… even after the 4th died really; Oro didn’t bounce from K-ville until after the 4th was named the 4th. He was already a legendary sannin before Obito was born too; could have trained one almost any time between the 4th entering the academy and the 3rd retiring.

kabuto specifically says oro is trying to take over his body and he’s fighting to keep him back. if kabuto was in control he wouldn’t be looking all crazy, sasuke had oro’s chakra completely under control until itachi had his foot knee deep in his ass. even naruto isn’t and gaara’s crazy ass aren’t looking wild and shit until they tap into THAT chakra, yet kabuto is walking around looking like half python and shit, nah son, orochimaru is still in effect which is good bcuz he’s the real evil genius in the naruto world.
as for there being a lot uchiha, i’m pretty sure oro wanted only wanted the top tier body not just any sharingan body which is why he went after itachi…and then his brother.
oro’s team was already shown, he didn’t have an uchiha, it was anko and some nobodies iirc.

naruto anime pretty much sucks usually.
and thurst is obviously understimating kabuto way too hard. there was a reason why they always said the new generation surpasses the old. before i thought kabuto couldnt even get into a level as high as kakashi (even though kakashi aint even on the same tier as akas or lages). the complete opposite happened. kabuto was already on his own level when it came to medic jutsus, lonly tsunade was on his level. now the shit has gone beyond that level, hes gained oros powers but not just gained it like sasuke had gained it. the dude has evolved to a point WAY beyond what oro personally achieved. kabuto now is on a level byond oro and soo igh that both gai and kakashi combined vs him would still lose. dude is overpowered, top 5 strongest living now probably. even counting the dead, only pain and itachi where on his level or just beyond it. probably 4th and 1st as well, but theres no too much known about them. especially the 1st.
