So i went back and watched some of the more memorable naruto eps like rock lee vs gaara and the rescue sasuke arc at the end of pre time skip naruto.
I really miss the feel of the old naruto, where everybody was badass in their own way. Watching naruto get bailed out by an “invincible when drunk” rock who’s then bailed out by a gaara who doesn’t even uncross his arms unless until it’s serious business. Hell even CHOJI was badass when he popped some pills (was ‘naruto’ tryna send a message to kids that if they take pills they will die fast and painfully??)
I just miss it. There were a few shining moments post timeskip where the spotlight was shared for a bit. But I feel like everything has just been building up to a climactic naruto vs sasuke for longer than I can remember.
Very true. I think this is one of the many reason people starting to hate Nauto. As I’ve said before, I am a Sasuke fan but this is way too much.All you see is Sasuke then Naruto. But more of Sasuke
Alot of Manga readers are interested in the other characters. Like there is some Neji and Rock Lee fans out there and they hardly get exposure.
The real issue with Naruto is in essence - we’ve seen this before…its DBZ post Frieza…in lste DB and early DBZ you had a cast full of characters who had a use, by the end of the Frieza saga, anyone without Saiyjin blood was reduced ‘aggro mangement’ and ‘comedy relief’ (really…Krilin with hair…).
This is no different, no fancy eyes or tailed beast, and your relegated to “aggro status” (even Hinata was just meter for Naruto, he didn’t even tell the bitch thank you)…sure every now and then a ‘normie’ pulls the Tien vs Cell moment that you want to cheer for, but you still know they will just catch the Uchiha Clap (amaterasu).
I’m not mad or disappointed in the lack of development of the other characters as the power levels are all Kage levels now, and none of those dudes are Kage level, hell is Neji still the only jounin? But, like I and others have said, a change in focus to say - K-Boy and his growth would allow us to stay in the world and ‘level things off’ again.
Man those Sharingan vs Sharingan fights are never ending. Its like one long ass game of chess. I got ya…nope i tricked you I wasn’t even there. Now I got you…ahhh lol you thought, I’m over here now.
Kakashi is gonna bust out the mangekyou sharingan again, and its gonna turn out he can use it a lot longer this time. me thinks

No…noooooooooooooo. Do NOT make Naruto and Sasuke fight now. The fanboy bullshit will be endless on either side whether Naruto owns him (because Sasuke is weakened) or if he fights Naruto to a draw or worse, a PnJ win (you KNOW why this would be bad) because Sauce just took on so many people beforehand. If he makes the superbrawl happen now he’d be kinda retarded. :wtf:
Now what might be a kinda kickass idea is if instead of Naruto taking down Sasuke, Team 7 combined took him down. Sure Sauce would be roflstomped, but I think the message of “we let it go this far, we’ll end it” would ring strongly.
The Naruto/Sasuke rematch ain’t happening right now, that’s for certain. Madara’s gonna bail Sasuke’s ass out before Naruto and Kakashi can push his shit in.
What it does setup though is Naruto saying “Fuck this, that nigga needs his ass kicked.” He saw Sakura about to get stabbed by Sasuke. Just to reiterate, he saw Sakura, a girl he loves, ABOUT TO GET STABBED, by Sasuke, who he was on the fence about after Madara’s speech.
The next time they meet there’ll be words…immediately followed by a motherfucker of a showdown.
