Naruto Thread 9.0 - The Manga is done, son!

The anime is entertaining. I don’t know why you think it’s so important for you just to read the manga.

Oh? Every time I talk with my friend about Naruto or Bleach, he always tells me about how the manga is so far ahead of the anime. So I assumed that they had plenty of source material to use. Either way, their are a lot of backstories that they could use to hold us over instead of making up dumb shit. How about showing us some of those great ninja wars we’re always hearing about? The origins of some of the other hidden villages and the science behind their techniques. Clan origins and crude scientific explanations of other bloodline techniques so we can know their secrets. I’d like to see some kind of Orochimaru journal from his experiments and learn where he came from. Something is/was obviously strange about him. He had snake eyes before he started learning those forbidden jutsus. Where did he come from and what was up with his parents? You know, clear up some of these mysteries if you’ve got the spare time to make an episode about Ino being a body double for some princess who doesn’t want to marry a fat girl. I’m sure most of you didn’t see that filler episode, but I’ve seen a lot of dumb filler shit since I’m devout to the anime. There’s all kinds of shit they could use.

They don’t do any of that because the purpose of filler is to buy time and not contradict future storylines , any explanation the anime crew comes up with or flashback into the ninja war for instance would mean squat once Kishi gets around to it himself thus making the entire thing a confusing mess if you looked at it purely from the anime point of view since they still need to animate the official canon down the road.

I went and watched Hina fight Pain since everyone was talking about it. It was extended waaaayyy beyond the length it took in the manga. :lol:

But at least she hit him due to a fluke, and used the technique she employed in the manga, instead of one of those many made up tricks from filler land. All in all it’s not as big a baww-fest as some people made it out to be (even though that studio does definitely have some rabid Naru/Hina folks in it, that much is obvious).

Naruto ? You… you were the previous host before me, I thought that fox never had a host. But why you? Why did you have to be the host? What happened that night 16 years ago?(Naruto has a serious stare of his face)

Kushina ? It all started that day your father rescued me, the Konoha specialist found out why I was kidnapped. It was because of my of special chakra that can control the chakra and will of the Tailed Beasts being able to tame them for certain periods of time under certain circumstances.

Flashback

Konoha tech ? This chakra… (gasp) It can’t be… Is she of any relation to the First Hokage? Her mind is unbendable, I can’t read it. It’s protected by a force of mental chakra chains. Who is this girl?

??? - She is Kushina Uzumaki, Daughter of the fallen waterfall clan. Only recently were they found to be exterminated.

Konoha tech #2 ? Third! How did she survive?

Hiruzen ? Thank Konoha’s White Fang. Before his last mission he rescued her. He was forbidden to, but he decided against his superiors to do it.

Konoha Tech #1 ? But why was she pursued? What did those ninjas want with this child?

Hiruzen ? She can control the Tailed Beast. (Thunderbolt struck) And she holds within her, the Nine Tailed Fox. The moment she was brought here, the sealing pot that contained the beast was subdued due to her chakra so the elders decided to seal it within her.

Back in the mind of Naruto

Naruto ? So you were able to weaken the fox? Go mom! Hahahahaha!

Kushina ? Thanks Naruto, but the story doesn’t end there. Within the village only few knew of my powers and what I had within me. Orochimaru, Granny Tsunade as we both call her, your godfather and sensei Jiraiya (image of youthful sanins), your father (performing a jutsu), the Hokage and the elders and those that sealed it within me. Only they in the village knew.

Kushina ? But there was one other, a masked man, whom you and your father know as Madara Uchiha. He was determined to release the beast under his control once more.

Flashback
(Night of Naruto’s birth.)

Nurse - Yes Kushina you can do it, just one more push.

Kushina ? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Baby Naruto ? Waah Waah Waah!

(Looking from beyond)

Madara ? heh, now that she’s in her weakened state, I can move into place.

(Hospital room)

Madara ? You have something that belongs to me. (performs hand seals, he places his hands on her mind and stomach) RELEASE! MANGEKYO SHARINGAN!

Kushina ? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Nine Tailed Fox ? FREE AT LAST!!! NO! THE SCENT OF AN UCHIHA STIRS MY SOUL! YOU FOUL WRETCHED INSECT SHOW YOURSELF! YOU CAN’T HIDE! I SMELL YOU! (ROOOARR)

(The village shakes, people scream, buildings break apart)

(Within the mind of the fox)

Nine Tailed Fox ? YOU WRETCHED FOOL, YOU CAN’T CONTROL ME FROM HERE! RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWR!

Madara ? We shall see about that. (He glares at the fox and a seal appears above his head). I have control of your will, that is the power of the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan.

Nine Tailed Fox ? NO! THIS CAN’T BE!!! I’m sorry For what’s about to happen Kushina, I’m so sorry.

Kushina ? (within the mind of the fox her mind has melded together with the fox) It’s okay Fox, everything will be alright. At least my son is safe, such a beautiful human being just like his father.

Back in the mind of Naruto

Kushina ? As the controlled Nine Tails ravished the village, your father The Fourth Hokage, was able to do recon on why the fox was released.

Kushina ? He was able to summon Gamabunta to help do as much protection he can to hold back the fox while he battles with the masked man Madara. Fortunately he was no match.

Kushina ? Your father knew he could not defeat Madara so he teleported atop Gama’s head and performed the forbidden jutsu of the Death God.

(A flash back shows Minato preparing to summon the Death God, while Madara lingers by with an unsure eye. The Death God is summoned)

(Flashback in the village)

Minato ? (Thinking) Kushina… I can feel that you are not here anymore but within the mind of the fox. Forgive me, I can’t save you… (he shed tears as the Death God prepares) We will be together Kushina, but within the mind of our son Naruto.

Minato ? (Thinking) He will know the truth about all his in the future when the time is right. (Heh) Maybe then he will surpass me and finish the technique.

(The Death God reached out through the body of Minato and grasped the Nine Tailed Fox and Minato performed the sealing jutsu upon his son and split the Chakra of the Nine Tailed Fox into two. The village is lying in waste, Madara has disappeared, Gamabunta brings forth the bodies of Minato and Kushina to the shrine Naruto was kept, Naruto cried violently and whiskers grew on his face as the seal on his stomach is revealed)

Back in the mind of Naruto

Kushina ? That is the story Naruto. Your father is a brave individual. He did all he could to save the village, especially you, our final legacy. Now my son, carry on forth with the will of fire you possess.

Kushina ? Use it to bring peace and tranquility, but know this my son, the world needs balance. Peace alone cannot linger, it’s opposite has to be there too for balance in the world.

Naruto ? I will carry on your legacy, the will of fire, and bring balance to the world and become the Orange Hokage. Thank you mom, Madara will get what’s coming to him, I won’t swear vengeance, if we fight, it would be to the death.

Kushina ? Thank you my son, i love you so much, and your father love you too, treat your grandmother nicely too. (she begins to fade slowly)

Naruto ? I love you too mom, and my grandmother, who is that. Wait don’t go yet! (he cries)

Kushina ? You’ll have figure it out naruto, or she might tell you. But one last thing before I leave and you open your eyes. Talk to the fox. He knows more about the Sage of 6 Paths. He called you that earlier. I love you son. We’ll be watching over you. (fades away)

Naruto ? I love you too mom and dad. (looking at the cage the fox is sealed in) Alright fox, I won’t leave here till you tell me why you called me the Sage of 6 Paths.

Nine Tailed Fox ? Hmph! Wretched Brat! Fine. I have no where else to go.

What will be the outcome for the akatsuki now that naruto knows the secret of madara. What will the Nine Tails tell him.

Crush:

Naruto’s birth was carried out in secret.

But, Mikoto and Kushina were friends, so Mikoto was
allowed to bring baby Sasuke to where Naruto was to be born.

Mikota and Kushina have a woman’s conversation (About the pain of birth).

At the time of birth, the Kyuubi threatens to escape fro Kushina (due to the weakening of the seal), so Minato makes an appearance.

Kushina was in great pain, and Anbu stand by (on alert) right outside the room.

Naruto was born on October 10th.

The seal was greatly weakened, so Minata attempted to fix it.

Baby Naruto is taken by a masked Anbu; seperated from his parents, otherwise he will be the next human sacrifice.

Edit: Not entirely sure about the last line. It involves the ANBU saying some cryptic line about taking the child from human sacrifices.

Spoiler provider also mentions something about Konoha’s relationship with the Whirlpool country, seems it might be the reason for the spiral designs on the uniforms of Konoha’s Chuunin/Jounin(also present on Naruto’s jumpsuit). Whirlpool country carries hidden Fuuinjutsu?.. Hasn’t been properly translated just yet, I’ll post it up as soon as it has.

This is a silly exaggeration. Naruto Shipuuden doesn’t have nearly as much filler as the beginning of the show. Shit, the last filler was only about six episodes. Even if that is still a problem you can opt out of the filler and just watch the main story eps. Whatever, though, haters gonna hate.

This pretty much confirms Naruto’s link with the Senju, and Rikudou Sennin’s youngest son.

It’s not that bad. There are some nice details in this chapter, mostly about Naruto’s lineage, and the history of the Kyuubi. It’s just… For the 500th chapter, and a week taken off to gather materials, I raised my expectations too high, I suppose?

Anyways, here’s takL’s translation of 69 ruma’s script/summary:

takL:

Revealing that she was jinchuriki, Kushina goes into the story.
She tells that she was chosen to be the second jinchuriki and taken to konoha. Naruto is furious as to why his mum from another country had to be a jinchuriki.

Although different countries, hi no kuni(the country of fire) and uzu no kuni (the country of whirl) had an intimate relationship and the senju clan and the uzumaki clan from uzu shio were distantly related by blood.
Having many peeps with strong life force uzushio country was also called the land of longevity and there was a rather rough clan that was good at fuin jyutus.
The 4 sho fuin on naruto was originally based on a jyutsu of uzu no kuni and who taught it to minato was me— says kushina.
The mark on the back of the costume konoha shinobis wear is the mark of uzu no kuni, adapted as the sign of amity between the two nations.
It was a country feared for the fuuin techniques, marked, and destroyed. The holdovers have disguised the identity and been scattered–Kushina continues.

But but why it had to be my mum? asks naruto.
kushina explains that among the uzushio villagers she was special with the chakra that could hold 9b in check. Beside the jinchuriki previous to her was also a kunoichi(female ninjya) from uzushio, which was customary. “she was mito uzumaki who got married the first hokage. So me too had determined to be a hokages wife”

After asking naruto if he heard of the battle between hashirama and madara, kushina tells naruto that mito sealed 9b inside of herself with a fuin jyutsu and became a jinchuriki to reinforce hashirama who’d gained 9b after the battle.
Kushina continues that she was brought in as a new container when mitos days were numbered.
“then u were treated like some bloody object!” naruto’s enraged. Kushina replies that she herself didn’t know when she came to konoha and was shocked to hear that too. It was a top secret only several higher-ups including the third knew. Even the 3 nins were out of the loop.
“But when i was almost crushed down by the pressure and loneliness, mito kindly told me this” says kushina.
to Naruto whos like “?” kushina tells "she said ‘we came here as containers of 9b but first of all find love to put into the container so that you can still be happy even when you are to live as a jinchuriki.’ So that i lived a happy life."
For the last line, Naruto cant help but sheds tears.

Naruto in tears asks kushina ?“i hear madara was behind the incident 16 years ago. how come mum had 9b?”
"so, minato didn’t have time(to tell you) did he?’ understanding that minato didn’t get to tell the details, kushina starts to tell naruto about it too.
“It was madara who made the attack but untill the last moment i had it. but somehow the guy knew the only occasion when the seal would weaken and he was watching for it and seized it.”
"Whats that(the occasion)? Asks Naruto. “the child birth” answers
kushina.
During the 10 months (of pregnancy) from the conception to the delivery, the energy of seal shifts to the baby and in proportion to that, the seal itself gets weak.

In minatos home. Minato, kushina the third? and his wife Biwako are talking on the birth.
The third says kushina is to give birth in a kekkai (a cell shield with seals. Something like magic square) at a distance from the village just in case and will be accompanied by minato, Biwako and Taji from Anbu.
The guards will also be assigned from anbu , under the direct control of the 3rd. Biwako says she ll show her the place, and she and kushina get moving.
On the way they bump into Mikoto with sasuke in her arms. the name sasuke is same as taht of the thirds father. ‘its after the namesake, to be a great, strong shinobi.’ says Mikoto.

in the cave where the kekkai is, kushinas delivery starts. 9b struggles to break loose and gets suppressed by Minato with his fuin jyutsu.

In the outside a man in a hooded black coat has done away with the guards and slips through the wall to go inside of the cave.

“Narutoo, come out quickieeee! 9b u stay thereee!” says minato. Soon naruto gives a first cry.
as the delivery’s done safe and sound, minato cries that hes a father from the day on. Kushinas also delighted to finally see the baby. Minato tells her to hurry up to restrain 9b.

But then Biwako and Taji give screams and fall.
There is that man holding naruto tells minato to leave 9b, otherwise the babys life is gonna end in a minute.
