Crazy chapter! Actually felt kind of sorry for the Kyuubi.
I don’t think this is it though. I mean, doesn’t seem quite the same as the way Killer B’s set up wtih the Hachibi. He’s a “perfect” Jinchuuriki not only because he has complete control over his Bijuu’s chakra, but can actually cooperate with it… Kyuubi’s showing no indication that he’ll be playing nice with Naruto.
Maybe this is just the way it has to be due to the difference between their Bijuu, or their Seals… We’ll see.
Whatever the case, Naruto has ascended! Need to know what’s up with that Rikudou-esque appearance.
[EDIT] - Also, I was hoping that Kushina would still be able to kind of stick around–both of his parents actually… Interact with them much the same way he did with the Kyuubi. Doesn’t seem like that’s going to happen though.
I think the original Sage of the Six Paths was the person who founded the ninja arts, as well as being the first jinchuriki. He defeated the Ten-tailed Beast, split up its chakra into nine tailed-beasts, and sent the ten-tailed beast’s remains into the sky to form the moon. I think the Sage’s ultimate goal was peace, and chose his younger son (who believed that love was the true way to peace) to be his successor.
Fast forward to modern times, and you have Naruto, with the power of love strong in this one (he’s able to fully harness strong techniques such as the friendship no jutsu and the hug no jutsu, and his mother’s love no jutsu helped KO the Kyuubi just now).
haha, win. I looked it up on the narutowiki. (which, still wasn’t too clear because it seems to me that you can have multiple Sage of the Six Paths). Naruto is a Sage of the Six Paths (person or technique) but may not be able to use rinnegan…
The Sage of the Six Paths was the father of ninjutusu. He sealed 10-tails… blah, blah, blah. THAT’S IT. There is no “modern day” Sage of Six Paths. There just isn’t. Nagato had Rinnegan for some reason, but he was not the Sage of Six Paths. Naruto learned Sage mode, but he is NOT the Sage of Six Paths.
If you’re referring to my post, I never said Naruto was the new Sage of the Six Paths, I was just joking around with his love and friendship powers. However, check this out:
Notice the similarities around their necks with the six swirly things? So I don’t think that people making a connection with Naruto and the Sage of the Six Paths is totally without reason.
He’s simply the successor in spirit to the Sage. If Naruto ever loses his tailed beast somehow and the ten tails is formed…I fully expect him to become the jinchurriki for them all.
The whole issue I kept hearing hte 9T complain “Quit spamming you butt munch”…hehehe
It doesn’t need an explanation. It’s obvious and if you need it to be explained you need to stop pretending to read a damned children’s manga. Just look at the pictures from now on.
I’m not going to buy that he’s simply a successor in spirit to the Sage. The markings on the body lead me to believe that Naruto has unlocked some new power that is ‘sage of the six paths’. Is it that he can use all elemental chakra? Is the manga just wrong in its interpretation? I know SOTSP was the daddy of all ninjutsu, but in the latest chapter, it seems as if Naruto has attained the same base level as SOTSP.
