How do you unlock characters? I’m assuming Story Mode?
YES!!! More CONR3 players. That’s right guys c’mon and get motivated to play. This game is hella solid.
To unlock characters you have to complete story/mission modes to get them available for purchase in the shop. Then u just make enough monies (hint: learn easy/rewarding combo missions), which is the most annoying part, and purchase the characters.
But…if you have an “awesome” wii, you can try this method:

Anyone here lives close to the border/in Mexico btw? I haven’t been able to find anything close to a match without very noticeable input lag on random =/
Gaara should really almost exclusively be comboing with d.BAA and d.BAAAY. To get into it/as anti-KnJ into it, use u.AY, and turn around if it hits behind you. You can also do d.BAA d.BAA X for a combo into super.
In LNP, stop moving out of the way of supers. You can block them.
Also, don’t forget that you have a block-stun super for 50% in LNP as well.
Just some simple stuff to get you started thinking. Gaara is mad good.

And don’t forget about those BBABAY and uAbAY combos. Fun times with the sandman!
Okay guys I need help with the game save. I have a save already on my wii’s system memory from playing the game a few minutes. When I go into savegame manager, I choose install and select the file that says “Naruto Shippuden 3.” However, I get an error ret=-106 message, which I read is because I don’t already have a game saved on my wii, but this isn’t the case because I already do. I’m going crazy trying to figure this out so if anyone could help me at all I’d really appreciate it, thanks.
A lot of older players really like this combo. In GNT4 it was the shiz wizz, but not so much here in Rev 3. It doesn’t work as well for anti-KnJ as it used to, and doesn’t give back 25% chakra for you to keep canceling it. If you want to loop a combo, make it d.BAA or d.BAAAY. Use u.AY ito bait KnJ as well. All in all, d.BAA loops are the better choice.
Yeah, uA for baiting KnJ and dBAAA are good so far.

Anyone? I also have the save on my SD card as another option, but I can’t copy it to the wii system memory so I’m still stuck. According to the directions from the willvolution thread (savegame mgr. method), I’m supposed to extract my existing save and then install the new save from the SD card, but how do I extract from the wii memory when I’m only given the options of: SD Card, USB loader 1 & 2, and SD Gecko 1 & 2 by savegame mgr.? Thanks again in advance.
Are you sure you have savegame manager and not savegame installer? Savegame manager will prompt you for extraction or installation as the very first option. Once you extract, you’ll get a folder on your SD card made up of a lot of numbers/letters (I forget). Just replace the files inside and hit install.

The options are where you want your files to be extracted to. You can’t extract from anywhere else but the wii system memory!
Okay, but why when I select extract to sd card, it says choose save game from list, but there’s nothing on the list whatsoever, despite me having about 20 different game saves on the wii system memory?
Hmm, you should be getting a complete list. Do you have cIOS249 installed? It is apparently a requirement of savegame manager.
I do, but apparently not the rev. 10 needed to view the list, which your advice led me to figure out. I’m doing a network install of it right now after finding it, so hopefully, this will work itself out in a few mins. Thanks a ton btw regardless.
I can’t believe it really after 6 hours of time put into it, but it finally worked. Thanks so much for your help Skye, I have all sorts of hacked WADs and stuff on here but for some reason this stumped me, and most readme’s just assume everyone knows what’s supposed to work where that I didn’t even realize extract was only from wii memory, which led me to search for why a list wasn’t coming up. Thanks a million again.
