Marvel is on DC, and we’ll have a couple DC house sticks but i definitely urge marvelites to bring one for themselves, cuz i know they’re scarce
updated the OP with info for one of our sponsors Downtown Comics, they’ll be at the venue with mechandise for sale and have agreed to supply prizes for the raffles and a tourney or two, but I need to know what stuff you wanna see, Deadpool?, Walking dead?, Winter Solider?, Suggestion anime busts?.. lemme know
you’re flying down?.. from canada?.. wow… well i’m honored to host ya man, and i hope you enjoy the show… i’ve been looking at schools in the great white north so we’ll have to talk you and me
I updated the OP with some hotel info for out of staters… getting down to the 11th hour and we’re looking good
I’m thinking about compiling a money match DVD… waddya guys think? like, have 2 stations set to record everything that gets played on them and any MMs that go off just have to be played on those setups… then we do some editing room stuff slap a menu and some interviews on it and give it out (not sell it)… what’s your guys’ take on that idea?..
I agree that hosting them on YouTube would be best if you’re not planning on selling the DVDs. That way any and all can get to the footage without having to wait, and you can still spice things up with editing. It’s a very cool idea.
aw but a DVD is just so much more coporeal y’know?.. i dunno i’m still thinking about this
Osi, i still need the TvC rulset cuz i dunno how the game goes, and if you’re at CBBG next weekend we can do the podcast thing if you wanna, or i got a camera we can use if you want a video… lemme know man
working on a flyer right now, and as soon as Zap is done tweaking the hype vid, we’ll primetime it and reintroduce this tourney to the MW again… be prepared for the barrage
Making the videos available online is way better than producing a DVD.
It’s immensely easier to access it instantly, from anywhere, and show it to whoever you want, in-person and over the net, and you never have to wait for a delivery or lose the physical disc. It also lets you show some videos fast, without needing all of them done, especially if you need to do some post-processing on videos. If you make a mistake on a video, or want to add some last-minute stuff, online lets you just replace it or add it. And you don’t even need to do any work with menus or DVD mastering or dealing with inventory or whatever hassles doing a DVD brings.
ive seen the flyers yesterday and very interested. not familiar with the rules but im sure ill get comfortable with em. dont know what game (or) games ill play though
updated the first 2 posts with some stuff including ZAP’s hype video…
it looks good dunnit?.. it’s also got a mystery game clue… actually it just kinda plain out tells you what the mystery game is
make sure you give Zap some kudos for the vids cuz its killer, let it be known i didn’t ask for name drops for me or Blasty… but doesn’t seeing them make your middrift tingle?
