As to where the actual image originated from? I’m not sure, but I’d guess 4chan.

Hi, I am new to this forum, so I apologize if I come of as naive. If I were interested in this tournament and wanted to play, do I absolutely have to sign up for each game in advance or can I just show up that day? Thanks

It’s usually better if you sign up in advance. It gives the organizers an idea of how many people will be in each tournament. You can show up the day of and register if you really want to though.

You can just show up, people always do. Just make sure to be on time/early for sign ups for whatever game you want to play.

Basically what Gouki and ActionHank said. Pre-regging just makes it a little easier for us but it is perfectly acceptable to register at the tournament itself.

I will also be doing some coverage for this gaming blog at the tourney with interviews, footage, etc. One of the writers may come in as well. Probably be a lot of focus on SF4 and what people think about it.

Is anyone coming down super late friday night, or really early saturday morning?

I might be up there next week and would love a ride back. But I would need to be back by saturday morning so I can go get my shit and help setup the tourney.
