They won’t do one. I wanted to go to the SSBB tournament gamestop threw cuz I was in Indy the day of to catch a plane the next day. They told me their location will never be a tournament stop because circle centre doesn’t allow underage people in their mall past 9 or 10. At least that’s what they told me.

The Naptown Clash tourney is my #1 priority regardless. I’m just trying to figure out if doing both is feasible in the interest of both having and eating my cake.
I doubt it will have any effect. No one in their right mind would miss a full day of different games with high level play, and all night of casuals, to beat some scrubs at GS. Which prolly will be on pads.

In all likelihood, Gamestop isn’t going to fund travel expenses for the players who make it through each round. It would cost them a ton to do that for scores of players. I would like to enter it too, but they just announced their tourney like 2 weeks ago with little info on the specifics. They don’t even have the tourney posted in the their tournament section but they got Call of Duty posted?
Who knows how many rounds there are and how many times one would have to take off work or where the various rounds will even be held. It’s cool that a corporation is throwing a national tourney but I’m willing to bet they won’t cater to players. It’s just clever advertising. The whole thing just sounds like something thrown together at the last minute to increase sales. The only good thing that will come of it is increased sales for Capcom which does bring a smile to my face.
There’s four rounds and not until the 3rd round do you actually get a good prize (TE stick) unless you consider a $5 headband for the first round and 360 pad with a different colored $5 headband for winning the second round a good prize.
Plus they don’t cover the traveling expenses for round 2 and 3. http://www.gamestop.com/gs/tournaments/sf4/default.aspx. So weak. First round, I’m surprised they didn’t give away a pair of red socks with M. Bison scribbled across them.

Reading thru the official rules. You have to use their controllers. So prolly the SFIV pads or SE sticks.
This could be good for our tourney. We can go down and tell everyone to come up after they are done. And some of us can go down and destroy the scrubs. 
LOL, what a coincidence. Well, it starts at 2 PM right? If folks want to chance it they can. It will be chaotic in that little store. 3rd round is the same date as Final Round 12.
Still it’s a no-entry fee tourney, but With SFIV casuals going on throughout the day for us, it’s prolly gonna be the most benefitial to just stay and play at the reg. tourney (not to mention the other tournies going on throughout the day).

For Indy folks travel wouldn’t be much. Round 1 is everywhere, round 2 at the Castleton or Greenwood, and round 3 in Chicago. I’m guessing that’s how it is in most area’s. Round 2 is the biggest (in terms of sales) GS in the area. Then round 3 is the closest big city.
But for anyone going to Final Round… well you can win a couple of headbands and a X360 pad.
Not that this really matters. 2pm is when TVC and HDR start. And GG will still be going. Of course CVS2 will go on until sunday.

What floor is that Gamestop store on? My main focus will have to be on the HDR tourney but I might try to swing the SF4 event too if humanly possible. I’m a sucker for trying to win little collectibles like those headbands and wristbands.
