If it isn’t it I can understand why they did it as a RPG and not a fighter. What with fighters (and games in general) not getting nearly enough love over in Japan. I am willing to lay odds that Dante will be in this game, if he hasn’t already been announced.
If fighters aren’t big in Japan, where are they big?

I take it back, the game isn’t cel-shaded. That image of Demitri and Morrigan had me fooled for a bit. So Capcom still have faith in 2D - That gives me hope of a 2D SF4.
I think we’re gonna be seeing A LOT of characters in this game, which means a lot of new 2D sprites, I hope these are detailed and animated sprites at least.
It should be interesting to point out that there IS a fighting aspect to this game. You can see some characters duking it out like any other fighter.
I always wanted a move command driven RPG (sorta like Sabin in FF6), looks like I may get my chance.

It’s being developed by Monolith, so Capcom has no hand in the making of this? It figures, they would’ve been too lazy to develop any new sprites.

Anyway, Ryu and Chun-Li are in it, sold to sano! Wish it was fighter but an RPG is a nice change of pace in the Vs. Games. :tup:

Not when they look worse than the 95/96 sprites. Check the pics, they look ridiculous. The sprites in Pocket Fighter look better than this.
