Picked one up today at our local import shop. It was sitting there going for $69.00 and I asked the girl to see it. She brought it down and I took a good look at the bottom panel. There were visible marks indicating it was a used unit. So I asked her to see if it’ll be cheaper for it used and that I’d like to buy it. Glad I asked because the guy checked and told me it would be $50. So it was snagged immediately. Just tested it on AH and GG, which led to conclusion that this stick is awesome. Buttons and stick were very responsive but not too soft like my TE stick. Definite keeper and might be modding it with MC cthulu and 360 pad.
So the joystick is the same joystick thats in the Hori’s?

ars10 user, yes, it’s the same joystick design that Hori’s been flaunting forever and still to this day with their VX and V3 sticks, but I don’t know why, but it just feels better on the Namco for some reason. Who knows, maybe it’s a placebo thing or it’s the microswitches on the Namco Arcade Joystick. Regardless, it just feels REALLY nice! :tup:

Even my HORI Fighting Stick EX2 has same Joystick Microswitches as Namco.

Ah, yes yes, I do remember you and zeetes telling me that the Hori EX2 uses the same microswitches on the joystick that the Namco does. Who knows then; perhaps it is just a different spring! :lol:

As for shipping it all depends on the shopping mall dudes it can be shipped from japan to usa base storage will cost 45 shipped then little more to be shipped to ur place or only cost what the seller is charging like 15 dollars to japan base then little charge huge shipping to ur place. So its like win or lose type. The most part is to buy lot and combine shipping altogether to save.
