i didn’t have the spare energy to think about consequences or worry about your mixups when i was being attacked. i just kinda moved Hugo in your general direction whilst pushing buttons… and kinda took all your attacks as they came and just blocked as you hit me. very few successful parries… but plenty of turtle Hugo

awake Hugo tries to do setups (read: wakeup low jab>super jump), attempts more parries (read: eats more hits by walking forward at the last second), and tries to predict/plan for what the opponent will do (read: random airgrabs that go over Yun’s head so he can GJ me faster).
the only difference is that my speech is not coherent when i was asleep. oh wait. scratch that, too

yo mike…got some questions…is Makoto Akuma’s only BAD BAD matchup in 3s? Im thinking of attending this tournament in Columbus OH this weekend and playing 3s, but I havent practiced in a long time, like 3 weeks or so…which is a while in SF world…Oh and I finally got a stick, the 15th anniversary edition stick…kinda like the one that’s out for ps2 with the yellow and red controllers, i think you might have one, it has Ken on it??? anyways some input would be appreciated…

Makoto is the ONLY one you should worry about. The matchup is so bad that it’s probably the one reason akuma doesn’t do well. My only advice to you is NEVER get grabbed. I remember you did fairly well against Mike Z in that respect. So yeah… no command grabs or you die.
Do you have the Mas-style anniversary stick? I just saw a pic of it and i WANT it.

Elena is dope. For the reason you stated and all her crazy high low games. Like Akuma her kara throw is mad good. Mix that up too. Can’t remember off hand what her Kara is… I know it’s either towards + strong or forward.
