MikeZ : Thanks for the info, I really should start trying to put together setups for SA2. To be 100% honest, my entire 3S career to date has/is to just figure out how stuff works. It’s really difficult to impliment ‘advanced’ techniques when I don’t even know the basics. Slowly but surely though, I think I’m getting there.
I wouldn’t see it as jumping in a pool right away to get used to the water, rather more like trying to climb a ladder by jumping halfway up it. You’re going to have to balance yourself and keep from falling off before you can go any higher.
Also, off topic, I must share this short AIM log I had with a friend.
SA 2 setups that I’ve seen used:
s.Short->s.Fwd xx QCT+Short, QCTx2+P (have to do the extra QCT in this case since the dash isn’t cancellable.)
s.Jab->s.Strong->s.Fierce, QCT+Short, etc.
DF+Fwd hit or blocked, Super. Also note that this is a REALLY REALLY good tick throw setup.
s.Jab walk fwd s.Jab walk fwd s.Jab etc, Super. :^P
Any knockdown, dash back and forth over the corpse a few times, Super.
F+RH (or is it F+Fwd, the overhead dealy) step fwd, Super.
Chain to d.RH->far s.RH xx superjump toward then instead of sj.Jab which stays out the whole time, use sj.Strong which looks the same but retracts before you land, and land into a Super when they try to parry the “Jab”. This one seems to be pretty effective.
Close s.RH, Super when they try to hit you afterwards. No clue why this works, but it does, and it stuffs almost anything they do.
s.Jab->s.Strong->s.Fierce xx taunt, dash back through them, Super. No kidding.
That’s all I’ve seen from the FEW times the Ibukis here ever pick SAII.

Probably until about midnight or so. You should stop by after your pictures are done. Also, if you want to bring the Daewoo and RF adapter, feel free. I only have 1 tv, so if we have 4 or more people, having an extra TV so we can get 2 systems going would be good.
Anyone interested in buying a Flat Screen 27" Sansui model TVS273 for $150 (price is negotiable)… I could use the extra money for my move, plus I dont want to throw it away…The TV is only 4 months old. Still have owner’s manual. and box if someone wants. HELP!

Yay! I get called annoying for a non-Ken character! Should I bring Double Dash (and GC I presume), or does Rob or someone else want to? I just wanted to clarify so that we don’t end up with like 5 GCs there 
. I’ll plan on bringing mine unless someone -REALLY- wants to bring theirs instead (speak up if you do).
[Edit]: Although, if Rob or another person wanted to bring 2 extra GC controllers, that would be cool.
double dash == mario cart? so should i plan on arriving later in the day when you guys are done playing random games on the TVs so I don’t have to throw a hissy-fit at the fact that somebody would like to play a non-2D fighter on a big screen with somebody they don’t normally see?

On the topic of Ibuki, I think I may have found my axe with her. The ex funky kicks are so freaking fast, and have a huge range. . . so if I block some stupid long range move that is out of normal range for my regular attacks, I can do the ex kicks for a nice chunk of damage.
It would still be nice to have a copy of that game to play with. . . I do have some extra money, but do I want to spend it on that. . . I’m not sure.
The strat guide (I am such a scrub) said that her low forward is a good any time poke. It doesn’t have anything that comes out of it, but it’s good to just hit and say “Haha, stopped you from doing stuff”
Also, safe on being parried moves are the coolest thing ever -.-
I gots da 2D Contra-type skeels dat just might be of assistance to ya. I will bring 2 GC controllers for Double Dash, in case people wants to get beat up by Team Bad Porno…
