People are too prudent now-adays about fighting games. If it’s not Tekken it has to be SC. If it’s not SC then it has to be 3S. If it aint that, then it has to be somethin that’s at Evo Tournaments!

There’s people who play games casually and they tend to have a good time playing all games. Then there’s people who would rather focus on playing certain games and mastering them. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with either. We just like to have a little fun poking at games that we don’t think have an engine that’s akin to our taste.
webster: it’s not that i’m making fun of you about your choice of gaming, it’s just that i’m used to a fighting game engine that doesn’t rely on the fact that it’s easily exploitable and broken up the ass or just kinda flaky altogether ^_^;
now i’m not saying that all snk/midway engines are flaky and broken up the ass as an absolute value… i’m just saying that even though capcom has produced pieces of broken engine code like all the versus series, and lotta bits in the alpha series… it’s still relatively less broken than stuff like 100% invincible moves caused by roll cancels (which went into cvs1/2 only because snk uses rolling and thus far rolling itself is broken… but snk refused to remove the broken code and instead makes it cost meter to do RCs… which is like advocating it… which is kinda flaky)… yeah. you get my point. i’m sure i don’t have to say much about midway… with random KI references
