. I’d say it’s pretty close to 50/50 when he and I play. Of couse, I know he was cocking towards WI, and I figure I should jump in a bit too. I’ve got a bit of low-tier GGXX goodness to offer them myself (go Zappa! or heck, even Testes for that matter). It’d be fun to see who the better state is at all the 2d games. (Of course, we know that it’s MN)
TJ, I think you’re right, we could still take ‘em in Marvel even though we haven’t played it seriously in like 2 years, I mean, it is WI after all :nunchuck: :razzy: . Nothing like talkin’ the big talk to get things all spicy-like. All we’d really have to do is break out the Mike-Z tactics and 100% 'em into submission. Forget playing top-6 (or only-6) like everyone else.
P.S. In the MN vs. WI battle, I always side with MN with one exception. Gophers suck, go Badgers! (and yay Illini, but basketball season isn’t upon us yet).

ok. so Sol in reload sucked… his dust loops are haaaard to do now. i managed to bust out two full ones over a period of about 3-4 hours
Mike managed to land quite a few partial starters… like 3-4 dusts before it stopped… but Sol’s too lame to start with… that and they reduced Baiken down to nothing

play him as a secondary with your primary as Ryu or Akuma or somebody (not ken or chunli, heh)… since then you’d have experience with a shoto who has more decent options… then you can apply that shoto knowledge over to sean to screw people up

he’s hard to pick up as a character when you haven’t played 3s a lot… i mean over in CA, mike Z played somebody he referred to as the best Sean evar of the year award and he gets slaughtered. his options are just too limited…
i mean… he just CAN’T do lots of things. the best crap i could think up of was random cvs2 Ken/Kyo strats where i’d mess around with Sean’s stupid qcf+K (the awesome kick, as i refer to it in cvs)… like hit them low, then chain into the kick and pray that they don’t see it coming (fat chance)…
or you can do the stupid rolling fakes or the fake grabs… like something>roll, stand, throw… or something>roll (crossup)>something else or something>rushing grab (don’t grab), stand up throw… or something>rushing grab (don’t grab), stand up, something else
as far as actually hitting with combos… the n00b doesn’t have anything damaging
the best random combo might be somethign stupid like crossup j.mk>land, d.lk>d.lk>d.lk>hadou burst… or j.mk>d.mk>hadou… or some other super… or his close s.hk might combo into specials/supers… but that’s like all his options exhausted
so yeah. go play Remy with blue nocturne instead, if you want to play tier nutlow…

The whole Xbox thing is pretty worth it imho (if you’re not a M$ h8r like Maobei ). The system is $150 and the game is only $20. You have the PS2->Xbox adaptor already, but mine was only $15 and it works for PS2->GC too. All together, it was just short of two bills once you include tax.
