Overall, it was a great tourney. All of us spent a great time there.
Thanks a lot Jon to eagarly promoted Jap players to come over to NE.
Also special thanks to Chad for taking care of everything.

For those wondering, Team Japan 1 was organized best team possible among them.
IMO, I wanted the same best team to face against both US/NE teams.
But Mester let every Jap player have chance to play on 5on5 so that they’ll have great experiences.
It is true that team Japan 2 was 2nd rated and not the best.
I’m afraid this is somewhat rude to team USA 3. Excuse us.

B-IzM, I brought the video equipments and recorded direct feeded 3S footages.
(not all the matches, only 1 of 2 machines were hooked up to record)
Now I have those recorded tapes and I’ll edit and make them available soon. Don’t worry.

Speaking of vids, Mester handed few of ‘Shirube’ 3S match vids to Chad,
and for those who wish to buy can ask him in fumilyfuncenter.

No doubt next year I’ll save up money for the next N-Cube. Not only do I want to see the 3S vids but I was wondering if they’re was any vids on the GGXX matches. Just started playing GGXX yet I would like to see the vid matches.

Overall great job to the NE/USA and Japan Team. Too bad that I did miss out on a great tournament event. Props to watson for running the tournaments. :smiley:

yo, this tourney was prolly one of the best ive ever been to. well…considering 3s is my favorite game. well this experience was good and bad. the team tourney was a humbling experience. the japanese are too good, but they’re beatable, i should beat IZU and INO, every match ended close, watch the footage and you’ll see. i was pissed i couldnt finish against those two makotos. i did beat KSK tho, ken is a good matchup against alex. the team tourney against team usa was upsetting. i cant believe 2 of the NE players didnt get one win, which was very surprising. much props to the cali players and flash tho, theyre good.

as for all the other tournies, the singles and 2on2, we didnt play anybody from cali or flash, but we did play japanese guys, and they took us to the losers and then finished us off in the losers.

but overall, there was some mad good 3s comp. pyro, vic, and frankie are mad good. pyro, wait til i learn makoto, and ill fuck your gay lil geni jin combo up! hehe the japanese are good, but IZU cant beat me in puzzle fighter. hehe even though i know he aint gonna read this.

damn, i think this is the most i ever typed for a post. well hope to see everybody at the next big tourney, MWC in omaha nebraska.

BIG BIG Thanks to Chad. I know it was him & his wife’s anniversary that weekend, and he ended up spending most of his time working at the center, making sure the tournamen ran smoothly.

It was also my wife’s birthday on 22nd! Thank god she supports this hobby of mine!

Here is some info the N-cubed footage. I just finished pulling everthing off 8mm and putting it on a master vhs. I’ve completed the editing for the opening titles, match lists, etc…Now I just need to take all the good matches off the master copy and throw them on the official vhs. Trust me there was only like 10 matches that sucked out of this whole tournament! Let me look at my list of the matches…ok.

112 Matches will be on the tape from the singles tournament.
All 25 of Nebraska vs. Japan
All 25 of Nebraska vs. USA 3
and 22 from Team USA 3 vs Japan (my camcorder was freakin’ out so I missed the 1st 3 fights…Starts off at FlashG vs Chikyuu.

All that for $25…And let me tell you, its the highest level shit this side of Japan.

I should have it completed within a couple weeks.

The dvd will contain all that, plus most of the 2on2 3s tournament, player interviews,artwork & pictures taken from the tournament (all the winners from each of the games, Team USA 3, Nebraska, Japan “A” &“B”) , for $35. The dvd will begin production sometime in december. Give us a few months to work on that…

I just figure not everyone has a dvd player, so we’ll do both formats to please everyone.

I will type up an official match list in a couple days, so everyone knows what fights to expect…

Please don’t PM and ask me any questions about this. I get like 10 a day, and I’ve just given up answering…If you have a question just post it here, and I’ll respond. Thanks!

This event sounds really good shame KO Tokido Match and J couldnt make it though but regardless it still sounds like it was a real good event with lots of good play I await seeing the footage.

My Yang had 22 wins in casual so I felt preety good using him instead…until I fought KSK in the 5 on 5. Then I wanted to change.:lol:
