I have been playin here on college campus in my apartment for about 4 months now with no problems.
Now, this morning, I couldn’t sign on and it says my MTU is too low and to change my router settings to atleast a minimum of 1364. But my connection goes directly into the school internet via ethernet cable into the wall so I have no control over that. My XBL settings are on auto.
Any help? I need my MvC2 fix

Since you havent sent me a PM i assume you fixed the problem. But incase you didnt:
Did you do a speed check? If you did, what did it tell you? Since the internet runs directly from your school to your computer/xbox your right, there isnt really much you can do. You cant change the settings because its all apart of your schools connection.
Another cause of your MTU being too low could be that your school is updating their system firmware. But that one is just a guess. But with you not having a router or a modem to connect to directly you cant really change the settings. Your going to end up waiting it out until someone fixes the problem.
im at my ‘home’ for the weekends so i left it there over the weekend. I have a router that I can plug into the school connection from the wall but I thought that would do no good because direct feed is the fastest best connection. i’ll let you know when i get back
MU stands for the Xbox360’s internal Memory Unit It means your profile is saved on the internal memory and not the hard drive.

MU makes sense too, I got the arcade version so its saved on the internal drive

Your connection speed is consistent between any device you plug into it, whether it’s an Xbox, Laptop, desktop, whatever, so you can run that from your computer.

ok, I plugged in the ethernet cable to my laptop instead. I ran that test and it showed
