My Viewlix Project - Ideas, Tips, Advice

Yeah it’d be fantastic if you could post the measurements. Obviously when you het the chance because this looks like the way I’ll go to make my own arcade style stick/ cabinet. Please post the measurements.

Brilliant job.

Nice cab man!! You should add the final images to the “candy cab made from scratch with wood” thread  !!

For the feet you can use pinball leg levelers (lots of 80’s arcade games used them) from Pinball Life…

have you found any were to get the aluminum feet yet? im a bout to start building mine so i was wondering if anybody new were to get those other wise im going to have to go a different route with the bottom of the cab.

Does anybody know what kind of router bit is used to put the angle on the side peices, controll panel, and a model # if possible. thanks

Me too. If anyone knows what these sort of legs are called, or a source in the UK, that would be really apreciated. I’ve spent hours looking with no success unfortunately:sad:

This is a sweet project man. I’m building a vewlix cab myself as well.

And thanks to your thread…I can get those top rounded pieces finished. Using angled pieces then sanding them down is a stellar idea.

Also. Just a bit of input. After all the time and effort you’ve put into the cab already…don’t cheap out and go with TE sticks…they are nice and all. But you can build your own for cheaper than $300 and have it turn out closer to the original cab. But its up to you. Your cab.
