Ok like the title says my wife’s cocker spaniel spilled soda on my mad cats TES I had thought that I cleaned everything up well enough but now I’m not getting any lights at all on my turbo panel anyone have any thoughts?
I would prefer to keep the TES pcb and the kitty I have in it so hopefully the buy a paewang answers will be weeded out

It sounds like the turbo panel has shorted out. Have you taken it completely out of the case and wiped it down? You say the lights aren’t working, but what about the turbo function and guide button? Does everything else work? I’d also double check all connections, I don’t know how you cleaned it but something might have come loose during the cleaning. I haven’t looked inside a TE in months so I can’t remember what everything looks like in there.
i hear spaniels have a tendency of peeing everywhere from the slightest bit of excitement…
Nah he’s just an ass… but in regaurds to the daughter board it’s not functioning at all at least from wht I can tell. I’ll have to try and post some pictures of the internals this weekend

If the TE was plugged in and it was on, most likely the turbo panel is gone. You can get along fine without it though, unless you use the turbo for shmups. If that’s the case you should have something with an ls-32 in there anyway. I’m hoping that taking it out and really cleaning it will help, but if it doesn’t, I know some people around here have completely removed the turbo panel from their sticks. You might be able to find one it the trading outlet.
This is why people should not let dogs drink soda while playing with a TE stick.

Yeah the stick was on so daughter board is fried I don’t use turbo but I have the TES kitty installed so I kinda need one from what I gather

True. The Panel could be wiped down in clean water or rubbing alcohol and allowed to completely dry before use.
The sticky syrup left behind from the soda is more damaging that liquids them selves, and as no power is to the board, cleaning the board is fine.
I did use 91% alcohol to clean it right after it happened but still no dice

Ok I missed some thing gone a few days titles changed ( for the better I might add ) and canines have declared war on arcade sticks!
