please count the number of “notable” mvc2 players ive beaten. multiply that by 3 against the number of mvc2 players who have beaten the amount of “notable” non-mvc2 players who have lost to serious mvc2 players, besides justin and sanford (aka the only two marvel players who have proven they are greater than that shitty game). you lose.

These guys do not represent the vast majority of ST players. They are an elite few.
Also, those players did not begin playing street fighter with ST. How many of them did? 0? How many mvc2 players started with mvc2? A lot? Just because you can name some mvc2 players that play only marvel doesn’t mean there aren’t ST players that only play ST. There are just fewer, because the numbers overall are fewer. And even still, those guys, again, are multiple game players who didn’t even start with ST.
AND lets not even start with the subject of “something new”, cuz most of those guys get earfed in games made past 2001, no offense to any of my respected peers.

Have you beaten a notable marvel player since you stopped playing? Alex Valle doesn’t count. Almost winning 4 years ago doesnt count, and 4 years ago, again because I seem to have to repeat things for you, doesn’t count anyway because you actually did play the game. Why don’t you count the number of notable mvc2 players that have royally fucked you up, then count the number of non-notable mvc2 players that have royally fucked you up, then count the number of notable ST players you beat in the arcade.

They only placed in Marvel when they played it 24/7. When Justin Wong learned how to get on a bus, they never won anything again.
I don’t know what is your definition of notable MvC2 players. How many of these guys have you taken out of a tourney, and recently (of course you could beat Yipes before he touched Marvel for the first time)? Wong, Sanford, Yipes, Chunksta, Rowtron, Jmar, Duc do, Soomighty, well, that’s already more players than all the ST specialists in the whole wide world.
Of course, if you included 200 players as notable, and counts when you played Marvel 24/7, then you probably luckied out a few games against some of them. If you try to find 200 ST players, you’ll have to strat calling people on their jobs to remind them they used to play it in '95
Oh yeah. Combofiend was a Marvel player only that branched out to kicks ass in many games. So was Ricky Ortiz. Even DxP, who was pretty weak at Marvel, started to completely dominate EC ST. That is not really a compliment.
