As for your gameplay in the last video… your basic approach is solid overall, nothing risky or gimmicky. That said your damage optimization, health/meter management and mixups need some work, but I’ll withold scathing commentary until I see this next one ^.^

a little off topic here… on saturday i’m gonna get together with my gaming pals… none of them have played the game but they say it has nothing good… i have to say most of them are KOF LOVERS… that’s right… the fighting game world resumes to fill a bar, press those BC buttons and repeat the same combo all over… i knowf for a fact that KOF is a high level execution game but come on! the gameplay on that game is so limited to one or two tactics (jumping CD and crouching A/B into special move/BC combos)… anyways… haters gonna hate… i still love the KOF series but hearing/reading opinions like that makes me kinda angry…
really improving my gamplay… still watching my replays and learning my mistakes… Kazuyas are way much easier now… still having problems with Jin though… new nemesis: SAKURA… jumping Hk is really powerful… observation: MANY players with 5000 BP or more using the easy input gems and quick combos… don’t mean to be salty or anything but i do hate losing against this guys, but it’s in the game so whatever…

“hit box reduced”… but comes out faster…
you’re misreading that. The HITbox is reduced (the box that determines if the move connects). The HURTbox comes out 1f faster (the box that allows cody to BE hit). Meaning the move has less range (presumeably) AND is vulnerable to whiff punishes 1f sooner.
