OK, ima get some stuff off my chest.
1st off, most of you probably know that the anniversary edition of that SF 3rd stike game is only on Xbox… I didn’t know this, so I went out in search of the game for PS2 :shake: mannnn… what the hell is going on!!!
I originally set out for the SNKvsCapcom chaos comic… wasnt’t in stock. So i’m not so dissapointed by that.
So, because the game wasn’t out on PS2 I bought Capcom Fighting Jam. Ok, I know there may have been threads about this game saying the same thing I am about to say. But, I need to, i’m sooo damn sad. I felt sick playing that game. Bad graphics, mashed up way of playing and baaaad music.
It was torture- but I had to stick with it JUST to see the UDON works. It was cool, but the game…wtf is going on!!! 20 characters?! no ken?! akuma?! specials are lacking! and even in pulling em out! :tdown:
Geez, Rizer, nortlee… eurgh, you guys were right but there was just no 3rd strike for PS2 :shake:
Seriously though, someone said that UDON should draw the sprites, I think that would have been fresh and an uplifting quality.
I think Capcom is going down the drain.
UDON= cool, keep at it, work is coming along well.
Capcom= R.I.P. someone please wake 'em up, 'cause it’s almost like they are going down the drain!

Street Fighter Anniversay Collection is on Playstation 2. I know because I own it. It has SF2 (all the versions), SF3:Third Strike, and the Street Fighter II The Animated Movie on it (some disc’s have been known to not have it even though they advertise it on the back of the box … it’s under SF2’s section in Gallery).
I’d go get it …it’s only $30. and you get 2 games and a movie on 1 disc.
He’s from the UK, there is no SFAE on the PS2. Never was and never will be for PAL users.
Unless some other publisher gets the distribution rights from Capcom because capcom europe have no intention of releasing it, or 3rd Strike.
I too bought CFJ on monday and I don’t find it that bad. Ok the game is lacking but I see it as a first attempt, kinda like CvS1. Hopefully they’ll hit the drawing board and make CFJ2, which will hopefully be better like CvS2 was.
And the music problem is sorted when you complete it with everyone. Once you do that you can use the character themes instead of original stage music.
I was checking capcom-europes forum and many people asked this question. The admin came out straight and said there was no plans of releasing it.
So it’s import or Xbox for you. Don’t worry, I don’t own an xbox so I’ve only got HSF2.
Yo Snowman, Thanks fo the heads up! You given me a little bit of hope. So all I need to do is complete that game with all the characters?..What about Shin Akuma?
Even if they do make a 2nd version, I hope they get their act together and smack it out like they did CvS2.
I heard something about there being a CvS3 in the works???
When I was completing it for the final time, after I defeated Pyron the building starts rumbling and suddenly Shin Akuma appears and you fight with him. Not sure if the same thing will happen to you though.
Don’t worry about losing to him either, you get to still fight him after continuing. I lost the first time (was playing Leo/Rose) and so then I picked Ryu/Rose and beat him down with the SF2 power. He takes damage like a sponge so it shouldn’t be too hard. Just watch out for the Raging Demon.
The thing with him is, in CvS2 when you fight against him on the computer he is hard to kill and seems like he has normal health. But when you play AS him, he dies in like, 4 hard hits.
I prefere him harder to kill, lol
well i surpose that is good news but id rather see SF4 rather than CFJ2 if capcom do another 2d game.
besides tekken is about to hit ps2 thats it for this country everyones going 2 be playin that.
come on capcom show us what you can do, 2d rules.
cfj seems to be a missed oppertunity for udon, i think its great they got to do some of the art work, but too bad the majority wont see it, cuz the game sucks…or so i hear.

I was wondering though, If this CFJ is some kinda prototype, and they come out with another, I assume it will be much better and all new and what not. But, will it still have the UDON endings??
