Hi Slagcoin.

I’m choosing right now a button layout to make my custom stick. So I have a question.

It’s possible to use the Sega layout used in Astro City http://www.slagcoin.com/joystick/layout/sega1_m.png with SANWA screw ins 30 mm? I’ve already watched the size of the nut “Screw-in standard button nut diameter: 36mm” but I really don’t know the exact space between the buttons. I think the size mentioned is only from center to center of the buttons. So I’m guessing if there’s 6mm of space, because if the nut is 36 mm it will require 3mm from every nut. Well I really don’t. Some help before order the parts. Or recommend me another similar layout to use screw ins. I’m using screw ins due is a wood case plus lexan.

Going to have to apologize again. :frowning: Lots of unexpected things have been consuming my time lately.

I somewhat quickly threw together an update. I did a lot of study and experimenting with finishing and learned a great deal. I did not know how large my revision of the Finishing subsection would turn out before completing it, but it turned out much bigger than I expected. I also updated the Wood subsection quite a bit. That page is probably going to have to be split into two sections. I also added Madcatz to and updated Hori in the brand controllers section.

I have a huge backlog now of things to update, and with some new perspective, I now notice a lot of things that can be improved. I’m going to try to make smaller updates more frequently in the future.
