If you still have the receipts then go prove that you own it. Even if you registered the xbox or w/e’s serial number on xbox.com is still proof of ownership. Take your father to small claims court and have the judge order your dad to pay you back in X amount of days. It’s better that you come to SRK to vent instead of committing murder or some crime. Then you would be at fault.
Best of luck to you and your dad, put the cleptomaniac in jail. He isn’t Your dad if he robs his own son.
As for the guy talking about how his dad raped his butthole & broke his jaw & w/e, this thread isn’t about you so why bring it up, grow up, grow a pair and learn to respect ppl and their problems.
I would never forgive my father for what he has done to my family…I try to pray about and ask God to forgive his sins but I cant even look at him in the eye…I havent seen my father in over 10 years and I could care less what happens to him…
Why would your dad think it was okay to pawn your stuff, and why would his mother and brother let him. Did it belong to him? Did he just take it and know your uncle wouldn’t care? Has he done this stuff to them? Do they feel bad for him? Is he an addict? Did he have a good reason? Is he scary?
The story and your reaction doesn’t make anysense to me.
My family, at this point, is obviously different than yours, but no one would get away with walking into one of our houses and stealing the shit of one of our guests. Your dad, for whatever reason, seems to be doing whatever it is he has always done, so if you want to blame someone, you should blame your uncle and your grandmother unless there is more to this.
Sounds like my loser baby momma. She pawned my son’s TV/PS2, cuz she needed money. I get it out of the pawn shop and let her keep the cash, so he has something to watch/play. Next day its back in the pawn shop. The reason I don’t send anything with my son to her except the clothes on his back.
List all of your items missing then report your items stolen to the police. It’ll help if you happen to have the serial numbers to any of your consoles as well.
Since its been beyond 30 days, the items may have already been sold. I wouldn’t expect to get them back at this point.
If he’s sold the items already then there isn’t a thing you can do as the ownership would transfer. Really speaking your family should have reported your items as stolen straight away, that way if he sold it after the police registered it as stolen the items would still belong to you.
Seriously though, take him to a small claims court.
Protip: read, then run your mouth. The answers to your questions are all in the post. It doesn’t make sense to you because you’re not paying attention.
