Hey fellas. I’m a SSF4 guy and I recently started playing this game and I’m having some trouble with the inputs. I play Bison / Vega and often when I attempt to do a Barcelona thing or Bison’s stomp they will do a quick combo instead. Completely unrelated, but there it is.
I have no idea what triggers this. Also I tried doing a scissor kick with Bison and he did an Ultra instead. Also Vega did an Ultra by himself once when I tried a regular Barcelona dive.
Are there any inputs here that are overlapping and I’m missing it? Help a brother out anyone?
#1 characters arent voice activated #2 quick combo is done by pressing LP + HK or LK + HP. you can disable this in the customize menu by selecting the character then selecting cutsom for quick combo. Then edit that combo to have nothing in it. you’ll have to set both 1 and 2 to that same combo. And you’ll have to repeat this for bison and anyone else you pick
Synergy definitely plays a part, but from my experience so far most characters have some way to help another. Best way to find out is to play who you like first, and if you notice something lacking (ie., both use a ton of meter), start thinking of who might shore up that “weakness” better.
