whats up with this?
if ken hits me with the spinning kick on a jump in on the way down and walks up and grabs it gets me like 95% of the time…
i know theyre gonna do it even before they do… ive tried mashing my throw to reverse, and timing it with 1 press, pianoing etc…
is this meant to be like that or is this because its online? its a fuckin joke…
You need to work on your throw reversal timing, or maybe compensate for online lag.

Without hating on you Dek0r, even though you’ve called me a forum fairy about 10000 times whenever we play, called me a n***** and all kinds of fun things, I’ll try to actually answer your question.
Most good Kens will usually come at you with jumping mp/hp canceled into an air-hurricane kick. I don’t have the exact frame data, but it puts you in block stun for quite a long time. Long enough for Ken to land and start walking.
You play Bison, so you have 2 options: 1) mash hp or mp a ton to counter throw. The timing is pretty weird. It’ll look like you grabbed Ken way early, but I think that’s just due to the online element of HDR. 2) Pull off your super reversal if you have it saved up. I don’t think you have enough time to charge down to pull off Devil’s Reverse, though I have never tested it myself. If you try a reversal scissors or psycho crusher, they’re still vulnerable in their opening frames to throws, so Ken will still get you.
While you’re not asking for advice, I’ll still put this out there: smart Kens will then mix it up. j.hp xx hurricane walk up, cr.lk xx dragon punch or even standing hk to poke you from far. It’s a pretty tough spot to find yourself in, and the problem of additional lag makes it that much harder.
