Hsd glitch won’t happen too much do to counter switching.
True to some extent, but a lot of the stronger set play teams include characters like Nova and Dorm who can easily hbd both characters after a switch or just put so much shit on the screen that it’s nearly as bad as holding the combo
Counter switching is the main reason it’s not too OP, but might as well get more damage and that’s with people optimizing their anti counter switch options
Yea having the option is really strong but actually “seeing” it in a match might be a rarer occurrence.

I mentioned the stone build off that in another post. The only ones I see this being effective with is maybe reality space and time. Problem is reality you have to wait until the first goes away so it isn’t as spammy as say the others I mentioned. Soul doesn’t build unless it hits along with power and mind. So they can’t abuse it.
I know mind surge definitely builds gauge on whiff. Thought soul did also but not sure
With mind it’s easier with a flight character as you can activate flight and spam the air surge which recovers faster
Mind stone better build on whiff, using it is so useless that it’s probably the least used surge in neutral.

Well it’d not a neutral use surge so it pretty much is the least used in neutral by default

I’ve seen people use it to air stall. You can use anything in neutral.

My votes would be (in no order) Ultron/Dante/Dorm for his best buds. Honorable mentions go to Gamora and Jedah.
But Nova is so good that it’s not like you need to build around him. He’s fine doing his thing on his own.
I’m bias but hagger is the best bro.
Haggars air whirl is great for tag buddies that can lift up off the ground for air loops, and lariat is the best reversal in the game, after to hits combo into hyperslam tag and continue with air loops. 6k+ damage off of a 2 button mash.

Yeah sorry about that they do build on whiff. Although that shit barely moves so I can’t really see it. It isn’t like marvel when you could see the chunks of hyper gauge build up from spamming shit
Theory crafting the best character for a Zero/???/Soul team. I probably won’t be good with it anytime soon because Zero is fucking weird on my pad, but I feel Soul is probably one of the best stones for Zero on a few reasons:
- Gives Zero a quasi-beam. Because if he needed anything, it’s a fucking life steal beam.
- Did you successfully kill my Zero? SOUL STORM
- Sougenmu is one of the standard “double install” options for Soul Storm
- If Zero is the one activating Soul Storm, you have an non-cinematic level 3 to throw out.
I think gammorah is optimal for this stupidity. She has her own install and is excellent with soul.
Dante…
Dante is good because he can jam session lock down into unblockable or hard 2 blockable. I think his moves synergize with Dantes to (something that isn’t discussed enough in soul storm).
Speaking of stones…why don’t we have threads dedicated specifically to the stones?
I think they are important enough in the game that each stone should have its on thread for discussion.
