good news for us Magneto players-- Nini Heart just confirmed in the UMvC3 changes thread that the grav loop is still in, but of course less reps since his addf is slower. fly fierce loop still works but you need to change it up a bit due to the added pushback on the j.H. since DHC glitch is gone obviously we need to start getting used to DHCing from a full tempest. :\

if they do not get in the corner after the slide into S, then u have to do H then S and go into another mixup or shockwave… unfortunate but I think it does OK damage.
HG loop is fine in the corner just dont know how many reps of it you can do

I need help with the unfly after doing the last fierce i get a S. I don’t know why. My inputs clearly show quatercircle S but instead I get an S. Even when I do manage to unfly my fierce sometimes doesn’t come out.
You’re probably running out of fly before you unfly, so the game takes in the input when magneto is falling which results in an S. You need to do the attacks and dashes in flight mode faster so that you can cancel out. If the character is higher than magneto, I do: fly, LMH, dash, H, dash, H, dash, H, dash, H, unfly, etc. The trick is to dash at the exact moment that fierce connects.

On another note I found out that when I alternated using sj.
and sj.:h: during a ROM combo, that I get it going consistently than just using :h:'s.
Try it out and see for yourself.
ive been trying to do the hypergrav loop and ive been having alot of trouble doing it in the corner… after sj back i can sometimes connect the addf h to st.h but i can never combo the hypergrav again. any tips on timing? do i need to wait to sj all the way back, or am i doing it too late? thanks for any help you guys can give :D. Also is it possible to to dhte hypergrav from midscreen, or is there a better midscreen combo to learn
So just a quick question.
With UMvC3’s release do you guys think we should make a new combo thread? A lot of the combos from MvC3 won’t work and timing and tutorial videos won’t be applicable. It would require a complete overhaul of the first post and I think it would just be easier to create a new one. Plus, I’m not sure if I’ll have the time to update the first page with the next wave of combos that get discovered. Just a thought though.
I second the motion of making a separate thread for magnus in umvc3 for reasons previously stated.

Jah thats wat i been telling you guys (i’m dont rememb exactly what I posted), unless ur talking about Ultimate? Anyways it helps get the addf H faster so they be in the perfect place. It helps for smaller characters. I mostly use it only in the beginning.
So when u guys do the fly H loop, do u guys do the fly adf H on reaction or just count how much u do into unfly? I see some players do adf M,H or M,M,H, etc. To me i can’t do it on reaction. I just input it ahead of time because they just drop if I do it on reaction.
with the fly loop into unfly generally you’ll want to be close to or in the corner so that you can transition easily into the hyper grav loop. I only do j.Hs. I unfly after the 5th j.H after going into fly mode.
I’m gonna miss the DHC glitch 
The reason the hypergrav doesnt connect is because the addf H you did probably wasn’t plinked (did not come out fast enough) to keep the opponent high enough in the air for your standing H to hit their feet. If the standing H hits their body, grav will be too slow to catch them. Don’t sj all the way back, but also don’t addf too early. There is some leniency as to when you can addf because I’ve tried various heights. The MOST IMPORTANT thing to get grav loop is to get your hands used to manual sj, bring the stick to df position while inputting the lmh plink. You have lots of time to do the standing H into grav afterwards if you did the first part right.
Side note: I really hope the timing for this loop doesnt change in UMVC
