Any tips on the backdash > tempest > dhc sphere flame part? It seems like I can’t do it fast enough. The opponent always follows my backdash too far and gets hit with the sphere flame.
try to plink directly after hyper grav
what i dont get with the hyper grav loop is I can hit the addf H St.H but when i do the hyper grav that does not connect.

do it faster, the addf j.H should be plinked. after it hits, you can pause a small bit and go for st.H xx HG etc
well then the only thing I can assume you’re doing wrong with timing on activation of the super. it took me a few tries since it has strict timing
So after countless hours I finally did the ROM combo… My best advice, besides all the stuuf that others have said already is: try plinking the ADDF and H. like this :l:+:m:~:h:
I believe this has been mentioned as well but it’s what made the difference between doing the combo and not doing it for me
It’s funny because I dont even play magneto or play offline, so after spending all that energy learning the damn combo, it’s probably never gonna get used out of the training room:rofl:

Yes it has been said and done already, but you would know that already if you properly searched beforehand.
Advice: Do not ask questions on how to do a combo IF the question has already been asked and answered. Also it doesn’t matter how long it takes you (which isn’t long at all considering it’s only been a few months so not many pages), you always view the previous pages of the thread for the answer of your question before you ask it here.

When Marlin was doing the ROM combo on felicia he whiffed something at the end of the combo. Anybody know what it might have been?
the lag simulator in training helps with that. trust me.

Also practice the ROM loop on Hulk, i’d say Sent but I believe he has a faster drop rate than everyone… Get your timing down on Hulk than practice on smaller characters
Yeah the hardest part is the dash . If you go through crouching animation just a bit u miss it . I found an easier way by doing dash then jump canceling into tempest . Ill make a quick tutorial on elive later.
tiger knee motion? that’s how i did it. also Alioune, how often do you get to dhc trick with your team? I went into training mode and found out that’s it’s pretty godlike with dorm (dhcg > pillar etc)
OK, Anybody got a video of someone doing the ROM loop in a online match? I know it’s very difficult, but is it 100% impossible?
Playing mag really makes you feel the lag online, way more than other characters
I’ve done it online but that was after like 15 failed attempts

Yeah, unfortunately I only play online, I got really excited once I learned the ROM combo but than got bummed out when I tried it online. I think if they fix the netcode in the future than i might be a bit more possible
