Which characters does hyper grav loop not work on? I haven’t tried it on everyone.

this combo should be on the front page, its an extension of the fly fierce combo but does more damage, has good reset potential, and can lead to the hyper grab loop in the corner…

two combos with magneto (first) sent (second) with drones assist that lead into the DHC trick:

j.S cr.H S sj H adf H magnetic blast (L) land j.H magnetic blast (H) land cr.H+drones S sj. H adf H S (drones hit) hypergrab slight delay tempest DHC HSF S into combo of your choice…

fly fierce relaunch combo with drones: after the unfly H cr.H+drones S sj H adf H S (drones hits) hypergrab slight delay tempest DHC HSF S into combo of your choice…

Yeah I tried the hyper gravity loop vs Sentinel, Dor, Hulk and large hix box characters and it tends not too work. I maybe be wrong but it works 100% on characters like Captain America, Ryu, Dante, Spider-man akuma and wesket etc.

I like the look of Alioune loop on zero just experimenting with that.

The grav loop def works on sent / hulk , Not sure about Dorm , It might be that your not letting mags get enough height for them.

Height with the Hyper grav loop is the bane of my magneto existence. So i’m resorting to doing my loop and Alioune’s :smiley: Also, XF lvl3 s.HxxL Hypergrav is hot shit.

Just got back from testing the loop on specific characters , I tested on Dorm ,Ammy, Zero, Joe , Spider-Man, Shuma, & Modok. I reached 40+hits /720ish?+ damage for all of them, No assists/Supers. I think it’s safe to say this loop works on everyone , But I could still be wrong, (I forgot to test Arthur :-/ ) .

In all honesty I believe this is the corner Bnb to go with , It does tons of damage on its own, Builds lots of meter and You can go in tempest /or DHC trick from it or anything else since they are caught in the Grav , And it isn’t that hard to boot once you get the the hang of it.

arr good stuff tbf 700,000 plus for metetless is pretty good, is the corner loop an infinite I remember that video being posted on eventhubs, regardless it’s a good combo with or without an assist seems like this is the combo too go for. Thanks again for the testing.

No it’s def not an infinite. The Hitstun deterioration kicks in from 42ish +, Even a little sooner depending on how you ended up in the combo itself.

It definitely works on Arthur as the original video posting the Hyper Grav. loop was on Arthur. I remember at the time people were debating whether the loop was Arthur specific.

I’ll add the level 3 x-factor simple Hyper Gravitation loop on the front page. The relaunch combo I don’t find necessary to add as people should be extrapolating and going into Rom or Hyper Grav. loop from the BnB’s posted. There’s so many variations to a lot of the combos that posting each indvidual one would clutter up the first page but if enough people feel they want this combo on the front page I’ll add it. Eventually, I’ll have to add notes to the front page to explain how you can go to Rom and Hyper Grav loops.

Could someone explain or transcribe the way to continue the air dash loop into the hyper grav loop?

Ok I learned all the basic combos weeks ago… Stuck to those for awhile while I worked on many other characters. A few days ago I came back to get Maggy up to snuff and–two days of doing NOTHING else later-- I just learned ROM, magblast combo, and hyper grav loop. I just want to say that some of you guys are fucking geniuses or something. Before coming back and watching the videos, I never knew anything like this existed lol. I don’t know how you guys do it lol. But Thanks A LOT. You are all awesome!

One question… Does ROM still even play Marvel? Last I heard he doesn’t… So… How did he get the infinite in Marvel 3 named after him? I guess it’s easier to say than, like, alouine infinite or Megaman DS infinite lmao… And actually I’m not sure who created it lol. I just asking…

Found a corner combo with an OTG assist that does decent damage:

S jH adf jH (slight delay) Magnetic Blast L sH Hyper Grav L sH S jH adf jH jS (Samurai Edge Assist) Hyper Grav L sjc addf jH sH (x2) xx Magnetic Tempest, Shockwave or Gravity Squeeze.

Without supers it builds about 1.5 bar and does 572,000 damage instead.

I play Magneto, but I haven’t been focusing much on him in several weeks, my BnB is still the day 1 standard loop (sometimes with a slight variation): c.L-c.M-c.H-S, sj,H xx air dash forward, M-H, land, j,H xx air dash forward, M-H, land, j,H xx air dash forward, M-H, land, j,H-S, land, dash, QCF+PP

I was wondering what else I could practice and make my new bread and butter? not something too complicated, something on an intermediate level I guess. Maybe I’m looking for two different combos, one for corner, one for midscreen. Preferably something that doesn’t require an assist.

Also, speaking of assists, is there anything interesting I can do with Magneto with the following assists, Tron Fire, Dark Hole, and Orbital Grudge?

Speaking as someone who just did (like, literally, this past weekend) what you are doing now, I have a few suggestions.

The first combo I learned was the one you have above (esp since it works everywhere). I think the most natural progression is to learn two basic flight combos. The two I learned first were pretty simple. I believe they work both mid screen and in the corner. But at first I only used Combo 2 in the corner:

Intermmediate Combo 1 -

c.:l::m::h::s:, j.:h:, ADF, j:m::h:, FLY, :m::h:, ADF, :m::h:, ADF, :m::h:, ADF, :m::h::s:, Gravity Squeeze.

Intermmediate Combo 2 -

Trinangle Jump :h:, c.:m::h::s:, j:h:, ADDF, j:h:, st.:h:, Hyper Grav, st.:h::s:, j.:h:, ADF, j:m::h:, FLY , j.:l::m::h:, Air L EM Disruptor, Air Magnetic Tempest

DISCLAIMER: I didn’t make these up. But I don’t remember where I saw them, or why I chose to learn these.

I think these two combos will help you in becoming proficient with the advanced combos. The muscle memory I learned from these helped A LOT with my timing for Hyper Grav loop and ROM. I learned both in about 2 days of practice.

Combo 1 helps with your timing of :m:s and :h:s in the air as well as transition between Flight and Air Dashing.

Combo 2 uses the first two jumping hits from ROM. It makes you comfortable with that timing, and is actually fairly simple. The difficult part of the combo is timing the L EMD XX Tempest. Once you learn both of these combos, I’m sure you’ll be ready for the Advanced stuff…

Just my opinion, so get out your salt grains…

EDIT - also at this point you may want to try out the Magnetic blast combos. Not even really the full combos. This isn’t for matches, i mean just to practice. it takes awhile to get the timing down. I think this is allouine’s, but the combo i mean is:

Triangle jump :h:, c.:m::h::s:, j.:h:, ADF, j:h:, L Magnetic blast, LAND, j.:H: H Magnetic blast, c.:h:.

Thats not the full combo but those last 5 hits are the ones you’ll want to practice. The timeing is FUCKING HARD lol. At least to me. Magblast combos do really good damage, too. So if you’re looking for something different to practice every now and then, that’s one of the things that i work on.

This may be a stupid question, but what happens at the start of the round is “lag” or what? It seems almost like an instant overhead lol

From the looks of it some frames of the video were skipped, You can tell by rewinding and looking at the morrigan building.

At the start of that video, what is that instant overhead it wasn’t even a triangle jump?

Wow, great. How much damage do these do? More than what I’m doing now?
