They’ll probably change her VA for the Japanese version. The original Japanese voice actress for Hsien-Ko retired after she got married and had children. I think she only came back to voice acting just to reprsie her role as Asuka in the Eva movies. I wouldn’t expect Capcom to hire her again.
Anyways, the talk about her c.Fierce makes me wonder if they left it canceable like VS. You could do stuff like c.Fierce, s.RH to make it safe.
Supposedly they got a new JPN VA for Morrigan for MvC3, and her old VA’s last voice work was TvC (Very recent). If they weren’t willing to bring back Morrigan’s JPN VA (or Dee Bradley Baker as Joe for that matter), I doubt they’ll call on Hsien Ko’s old VA.
Yup, Morrigan got a new VA for her Japanese voiceover(Rie Tanaka from chobits) so it’s likely Hsien-Ko has a new one as well, especially if her former one retired. Hopefully her JPN voice delivers, because her english one is so…atrocious. =/
Mehh, I like her English voice, feels like she’s saying all her lines with a “: D” on her face.

Her Cr.C should be E cancelable, or F.C (if she has it) cancelable, or special/super cancelable.
Hahaha, I couldn’t put my finger on it, but I think that’s a pretty good way to describe why I don’t mind it. She’s shouting things in a much-too-happy way while summoning otherworldly weapons and dropping shit on your head, practically giggling while doing so.
Even though it might be a bit different than her characterization in DS, but I think that the “cute” persona they’ve given her in MvC3 works OK with her character design as a whole, if you can look at it separately from any previous incarnations of the character.
I can’t remember if c.Fierce was Special Canceable in VS. I’m hoping it is in MVC3 bcs c.FiercexxPendulum would be awesome in combination with assists for traps and mix ups.
I’ve never been a big fan of Hsien-Ko in the past, but I can’t wait to abuse the heck out of that gong.
All the Darkstalkers are going JPN the second I get this game, it’s just too weird to see a character like Morrigan or Hsien-Ko speak English when I’ve been hearing them speak Japanese since I first played the game when I was a kid… It’s too jarring lol
I like it too, I think it’s mind numbingly adorable. I’ve always had a thing for using characters with the really annoying voices according to the majority because I know it pissed people off. Tira was my main in SCIV for this reason.
Is it confirmed you can change the character’s voices independently like in SSF4?

Well, seems obvious her high jump is actually a chain hook-and-pull… answers one of my questions from a while back!
So her colors are classic 1p, classic 2p blue with gold trim, the black and red alt, and a version of that with blue rather than red.
Senpu Bu, Anki Ho, and Henkyou Ki as assist.
Saw her third assist on the stream. We have pendulum.
