Yeah he played X23 in a really creative way that just focused on landing throws and then setting people up with wave dash 50/50’s on their wake up into more combos. Andre/Jago nearly got double perfected by that shit alone. It really goes to show how powerful throws are in this game. At the start of the match before the game said fight they were up next to each other waiting to make a move and then when the game said fight Tatsu just goes for the decision maker forward air throw and guesses right on Andre jumping and then the match just went to shit for Andre after that.
The best part is Tatsu wasn’t even doing half of what she is capable of technically. He was just using strong but basic throw/counter hit setups and making use of his assists to continue pressure and mix up afterwards. He also made use of her H talon dive which gets her really far across the screen and still allows her to attack/block/throw afterwards.
It just goes to show that when you’re as competitive of a player as Tatsu just having your intuition, reactions and a basic but solid gameplan will get you far. Shit I dont have yet in this game but I’ll get it.

seems common at smaller events, for ppl to be looking around during finals asking if its 2 or 3 or 3 of 5.
