Meh, I’m fine with only 8 pages. Keep the Trish community small but mighty >:3
ATM, I might be running Trish/Dorm/Morrigan.

Its actually refreshing to see a thread without trolling/flaming/hating.
Seeing what Trish can do in DMC4, it’s not that much of a stretch for her to pull a pair of shades out of no where.
You know it’s interesting. The more videos I see with her, the more I see people ignore her traps and play rush down with her to land her air combo into Maximum Voltage. And what’s more, it seems -solid-.
I gotta wonder if she’ll end up more versatile than the trap character we thought. So far, she doesn’t seem reliant on them at all, which is a definite change to how I originally conceived of her.
Did she ever seem like just a trap character? She has two lingering projectiles, great range, a divekick, and great air mobility. Her main problem is damage, and playing trap character doesn’t fix that.
Her traps seem like a good way to support rushdown - attack, call lockdown assist, set AA trap above their head before assist ends so if they try and jump out they get caught, wail on their poor, grounded body.
I think Haunts nailed it when he called her a versatility character. Want to turtle behind traps? Trish can do that. Want to rushdown? Trish can do that. Want to be the utility that makes your opponent afraid to approach your point character? Trish can do that too.
Oh yeah, definitely not saying that this is a bad thing. Just interesting and a recalibration of expectations for her. I can clearly see the strength of her keepaway game, I’m just trying to be more cognizant of how her traps can help her rushdown I guess.
Okay, so now that we have commands on the American site, it appears that the mysterious “switch sign” can only be done during round trip (and round harvest, presumably).
MARVEL? VS. CAPCOM? 3: Fate of Two Worlds | Characters - Trish
Sorry if people know this already; I’m never totally up to date with the news
Hey im just wondering is Trish have good health at all or is it really bad.
It’s below average.
Anyone know if Trish can XFC her Maximum Voltage Hyper into another one? Or a Round Harverst into itself or Max Voltage? Kinda like how Dante can do with his gun Hyper.
Thanks.
What is this xfc you dpeak of?
loljk
No one knows because ut has not been attempted yet.
Let’s get this straight, you are rarely comboing Round Harvest…EVER. Like literally, I think Stalker Flare might be the only chance it combos, and that’s just nigh impossible to make that DHC combo, because you can’t combo into Stalker Flare to begin with.
Maximum Voltage, maybe.
A few DHC’s will let you combo into Round Harvest, Dante’s gun super for example(I’ve seen Marn do this). The thing about that though is that the scythe will take your opponent high up into the sky, or at least in the above example. You can plant Hopscotch below them though for an extra hit during this.
Also, if you activate x-factor after Round Harvest you cannot do another one since your scythe is already out. You can do Maximum Voltage though.
Since I’m planning to play Trish, I was wondering if after you combo into air Maximum Voltage if you can DHC into Hyper Sentinel Force kinda like a bootleg version of America’s Favorite DHC. I’m planning to use Trish, Sent and Morrigan on my main team(in no particular order yet) and was wondering if anyone could test it come launch since I won’t have the game until a couple of days after launch.
Anyone notice how Round Harvest acts if you mixup the opponent while they’re being forced to block it? I really like the sound of Round Harvest into C. Viper’s Burning Kick Asst. + low for an unblockable, and I was wondering if Round Harvest would make it impossible to combo out of that…
Unless your opponent does not use Advancing Guard for whatever reason, that situation is generally likely to never occur since they can mash pushblock and prevent you from moving.
This should work, however, you might have to do it early because Maximum Voltage drops them to the ground level. Or you can do it in the corner, where Maximum Voltage keeps them airborne and usually does all 30 hits.
Now Trish’s Round Harvest isn’t for combos IMO. It is for chipping out, DHC’s, catching assists, and it allows her to reset her traps.
I had no idea pushblock acted like that… you mean to say if they pushblock the hits from Round Harvest, Trish can’t move? Yikes…
(although I shouldn’t be surprised because what I’d described is pretty much Hyper>Free damage, but I figured with the amount of shenanigans in this game it wasn’t unlikely)
Yeah, Trish will not be able to advance forward and will be constantly pushed back to fullscreen. You can literally just mash pushblock when blocking it.
Carpark is right on what Round Harvest is used for. Yeah, I guess the Maximum Voltage DHC to HSF would be most effective in the corner. I completely forgot it won’t completely juggle them midscreen.
Profound sadness, not gonna stop me from wanting to play Trish in the least, but profound nonetheless… I assume it’ll pushblock if you tag someone else in that case as well?
Edit: also, it looks like you could use Hopscotch or Peekaboo assists as AA, I assume they both work decently in this regard? or is one just blatantly better at it?
