Just hop on the Doom train and use Plasma Beam hurr durr.
But for real, if you want to keep Mags despite his changes, go for it.
I’ve been playing Doom since Day 1 lol, and while that’d be easy enough I like having wholly different teams (i.e. Not using the same character, I’m just OCD like that lol). And I’m not neccessarily keeping Mags either, I was just saying that it’s not like he’s really been “nerfed” or anything.
I just started playing Felicia and using Spencer’s slant shot does wonders for her reset wise. Figured out quite a few different 50/50’s with her in and out of the corner. Using Task’s arrows right now as a projectile and they do pretty well for hit stun off a crossover with her Cat-Spike or whatever that tri-kick dash is called. So far its doing okay for me. 1st day online with the team but not the greatest. Then again maybe i should just get some experience in on it. So Doom’s plasma beam would be better for her?
Plasma beam does work for her considering that her mix-up game is CRAZY. Especially after and OTG Toy Touch. You can mix it up with Cat Crawl and let the assist roll and let your opponent get hit by the plasma beam, or use it as a cross-up and go for a grab before the beam hits. It’s faster than arrow assist, but I still prefer Taskmaster (at least in Vanilla Marvel.)
Anyways, after looking at Phoenix Wright, I’ve decided to put him on my main team! More shenanigans to follow when this game hits on November 15. I think he will have great synergy with Felicia. Any thoughts from you guys?
I’m personally going to try a team of Wright, V.Joe and Felicia. I might not keep that team, but I’ll at least try it out.
A lot of the new characters look interesting to me, I have no idea who I’ll put with Felicia at the moment :3

I’mma rock Feli with Strange and potentially Hulk/Dorm or another. All depends on how the new characters handle. I’d love me a beam assist, since I’ve never ran with one, but it all depends.

I want to make a team with Felicia and Shulkie. Is this viable at all? Or is there a reason why I shouldn’t do it?
Both Felicia and She-Hulk lack projectiles, lack air mobility, have a strong throw game, have a strong reset game, have similar assist options… I just see them as being too similar to each other.
Your number one weakness for a team consisting of these two will be zoning and air play, so make sure your third character can make up for both of these deficiencies - Dormammu being the most obvious option.
Plus, I don’t feel like Shulkie’s assist really benefit Felicia and vice versa.
Well, you might find some of She-Hulk’s other assists useful - the only problem is that none of them have gotten much play-time. Clothesline does a crumble and Somersault Kick might be a decent anti-air.
But yeah, Torpedo is completely redundant for Felicia.
Yeah, my team is currently Felicia (sand splash)/Shulkie (somersault)/Dormammu (hole or pillar) but I used to have MODOK and Iron Man in place of Dorm as well.
I’m just wondering, should I be more concerned with using my assists to extend combos or am I fine just using them as defensive options?
I just realized that team Felicia, Frank, Storm is team FFS. Seems appropriate lol.
Felicia+Frank is team Playboy lol. They work really freaking well together. :3
I’m loving Felicia+Strider, Vajra keeps people grounded so you can Kitty Helper mixup, or they eat a hard knockdown to Toy Touch combo 
Not sure who to anchor with, I guess Akuma seems the obvious choice, I’m still not convinced that Lariat isn’t worth it either, even if it did lose the hard knockdown that she loves so much.
If you picked Akuma that would be my team. Though I’m thinking of switching Strider for Dante (Jam session also helps keep them grounded and I can play Dante more effectively than Strider).
lol, when I was running Haggar/Felicia/Akuma in vanilla I actually always said I’d rather have Jam Session, I just suck with Dante. She loves that assist in so many ways and Dante doesn’t mind her help much either with those full screen hi/low left/right crossups, or another otg assist in Ult
