Those combos by Crimson Cobra are really outdated, but might be a good way to start learning how Morrigan’s combos work. I’d check out pg. 4 and 5, mainly REALPLAYER’s post which has a combo video and two good combos (corner and midscreen) and Vereth’s post which has her relaunch, both on pg. 4. I posted my combo on pg. 5, but it has four soul fist cancels in it, which might be sort of tough if you’re just starting. The combos with a lot of soul fist cancels are damn tough online, so if you plan on only playing online it might not be worth learning these combos. Hope I helped a bit:)

Thanks for the heads up on those videos. I asked because in tournaments players like ChrisG and Dieminon are doing other things so they seemed a bit old. I’ll follow the leads you gave me.
Ya, I’ve seen all 3 of darchon’s video’s. Very well done and very informative for a new player. I have already added in some of his tips, such as moving around in flight mode to take advantage of unfly into block, and flightcancel shell kick for (almost) instant overheads. Those 2 things upped my game SO much. I have been finding and looking into everything I can get my eyes on.
There was another video, not sure who made it but it has all the notations down on the bottom of the video and it pauses as it plays to let you see what he is doing. The only problem I have is right after the post here there are a string of posts where people are saying that those combos are not good and other things about it, so I have put off looking into that video for now.

What if somebody made a new thread? It’s not like the Morrigan section is cluttered with a zillion different threads anyway. And I’m not sure if moderators can change posts (well I’m sure they can, but I don’t think they make a habit of just changing people’s posts around.)
Having all the info in one place would be really helpful, especially to newer players so they don’t have to sift through Vanilla and Ultimate stuff. Not that 5 and a half pages is a lot… but still.
I can try to create one, but I’m not too sure about the super jump combo, and the TAC combo (I believe it some kind of version of the SJ combo).
Oh and the the XF combos, (connecting :dp::2p: into XF into fun). Running Morrigan first made me lazy

As I said before I’ll have absolutely nothing to do tomorrow, but I’m pretty set on doing a matchup thread and maybe it would be more beneficial if I focused solely on that. I am 100% sure I could get both done by the end of the day though

As I said, I lack a lot of theoretical knowledge about her combos, as I mainly use one SF loop, and no XF, so i can’t really open it. if someone subscribe her some of those other combos, I could rearrange them nicely for combo thread

What are some good basic combos to learn off soul fist confirms? I’m speaking about when opponents get bounced around off mid air soul fist.
For future reference, we have a stickied combo thread;) Off of a single Soul Fist L I ADD j.S s.LM c.H etc., or ADU xx ADD j.S s.LM c.H etc., and off of Soul Fist H I ADF j.MH Soul Fist L land jump j.MMH etc. I used to try to combo off of bouncing people off of Astral Vision Soul Fists, but it was inconsistent and I wasn’t even sure if I was getting better damage so if I start bouncing them I just keep going.
